Food gourmet

It's Sunday. I love Sunday at times especially when bf is good. It's been a long time since he last drove me around. He's been complaining how tired he was and the rates of him crashing into someone's bum (back of car) again. Well, it happened at least 3 to 4 times and I'm not really surprised if it happens again.

This time round, he was perfectly tired still. It's nice of him to make an effort driving me out to eat my favourite food. I had a long list when it comes to food. As you can see, most of the time I've been flooding my blog with food picture. I love Char kway teow, carrot cake, BBQ chicken wing, satay beehoon, stingray, sotong, glutinuos rice, chee kueh, and many more. Oh my goodness, it's so hungry to be blogging about food.

Photobucket
Bf ordered egg oyster, kway teow, chicken wings and carrot cake. Well, I didn't tell him to order that much. He's always worried that I might go hungry which explains why he ordered that much. He's a nice bf who rather empty his wallet for my stomach. It seems to be a good point of him but a bad point at times.

I'm currently maintaining my weight at 45 kg. You guys might have thought it's a normal weight for someone short, small and tiny like me. It's been four years in a relathionship with my bf, but you guys will never be able to understand the torment I've been through.

Over these 4 years, I flood my mind with the same old phrase "Eat less", "Eat less please" and "Stop eating please". Nothing could work it out. In my 2nd year with him, there was a period when I weigh 58kg. I'm seriously not joking about this. It was such a nightmare. My bf's family even knew that I had gain so much weight that my pant goes from S to L. I'm serious about that and I kept one of the short in "L" in my cupboard still. It took me months to shrink back.

Although I made it, but it must still be under control before I see 70 the next time round. Haha.

I really love to eat. If I were to become a food gourmet, I'll really be a satisfied person in this world. Haha, having loads of food, never ending.

Well, I'm done with sharing my little story on 58kg. Haha, share stories with me if you had too.

Take care everybody and enjoy your lifestyle.

The hangout

It's been sometime since we met up for a shopping spree. Well, we were kept busy at all times. Our workloads came from office and centres. Yan is busy with buffet while I'm busy with kids, sounds like buffet and nanny. Oops, better not mention it too often in my blog; otherwise we will be having new nick soon.

Jinxes us, the day we met, even our fate is similar. I went for my morning tuition before tuition centre. Guess what? I forgotten to bring my hp, which seldom happens. So does Yan, she forgotten as well. I'm glad that I made some time home to retrieve it. As for her, not that fortunate.

It's probably an hour journey from her workplace to her house. She might die along the journey, so it's better not to. Well, shopping shall be the main theme for our day.
Photobucket
As usual, toilet leisure - camwhore. Amazingly, your skills still as strong as before.
Photobucket
Next, we got ourselves burried in Zara. I got myself a high waisted short while Yan got a Cowherd skirt. Well, I named it Cowherd because it made me thought of COWS. Lol, I just can't stop thinking about milk and New Zealand. Well, shall end the cow topic here before I got killed.

Poor Yan couldn't get a proper new pieces from the staff. All the pieces were filled with pencil or pens' marking. Lol, it seems like Zara staff enjoy vandalising their own clothes. Probably almost all the other outlet as well.
Photobucket
Here we go, trying on boots and all sort of heels.

Poor us having dinner at Burger King. It's the first time we had fast food in town. I'm so fascinated. Haha, 2 main reasons behind this. First, Marche has uber long queue; Second, we were god damn broke. So broke till you hardly believe it.
Photobucket
Alright, we had a super long chat at BK before setting off for home. Home sweet home.
Photobucket
I'm seriously lucky. While walking to the bus stop, Chris called saying that he's passing by town, yay, here I got my free ride (shun feng che) home. Haha, shall end everything here.

Good night everyone

Have a nice day.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Worthwhile

Watch this, a song written by Lady Gaga. I just came across it somewhere else and learnt that she wrote this for her dad. It's worth watching.

Perfect mood

I'm in a great mood today. Well, there's no reason for being happy but always a reason for being sad. Either being bullied or tortured somehow. I'm so tired and had no idea why am I feeling that way when I'm only having lesson in the evening. Mmm, probably is the stress for classes. You know; I got to prepare and set my own exam papers.

Oooh, I still love the job.

Painted my nails today. D.I.Y french nail. Amazingly, I did french nails times faster than normal painting. Haha, guess the white stickers from FaceShop does help alot. I did it in 10 min which include top coat. It's consider neat for a 10 min D.I.Y job.

Alright, that's about it.

Have a nice day ahead everyone.

My quotas

Ooh hoo, a few student cares had offer me position. Hence, they allow me to go off anytime I want. It's so beneficial for me especially when I'm waiting for replies from both SIM and NIE. Oh dear, NIE is making my life difficult. Once again, they can't read my file.

Great, I got to fax it over using the vintage methods of doing so. I got one of the best student care offer near my house. It's so near. Mmm, how should i describe the distance. AHHHH, i got it; "A stone throw away". Haha, I can never be late. It's just a 1-2 min walk. Tell me, how hard it's gonna be.

First, I don't have to wake up early in the morning and I can reach home as early as I could. Most probably, not home; tuition centres. Other organisation did offer me pay like 7 to 10 bucks per hour. Though the pay's good, but I got to travel. Well, I'm a smart lass.

I told them I will confirm with them again on this coming Friday. Shiok arh. If any organisation offer me 12, I'll say byebye to the one near my house then. It's just so tempting to accept the job on the spot when you look at the distance and time.

Next, concession will be ending real soon. It's going to be adult price. I'm so emo about it. If concession continues, I wouldn't fret over money issues. Let's pray hard that I'll be earning more and more each day.

Toast to my school fees quota.
Toast to my school entry result.

Same for you guys, keep going! Find a job of your liking. Jiayou.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Not to be sorry

Life is so dry especially you started your working lifestyle. It's gonna be permanent. Off I went to Bukit Gombak and Bukit Batok for interview. Nah, it's just some other centres for me to slot in my tuition classes. Well, amazingly I was told to teach Sec 1. Oh dear, I hate mathematics formula.

Haha, anyway I might be getting more assignments. Let's hope that I'll be earning more quick cash. As you know tuition is always flexible with the timing and higher salary. I can always continue when school reopen. It's kind of beneficial to me.

Stay tune to my tuition stories.

Students, please study hard for your examinations. Especially your common test, it's all within this week. Do your best and not to be sorry. Jiayou, do well.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Short and simple

It's a random day. I had my tuition in the morning and overshot 15 minutes. Mmm, it's because my student will be having his CA1 next week, both english and maths. He nearly fainted when he saw the Ai Tong's Paper.

I shall make this post short and simple. Had a nice day everyone.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Too good to be...

18th February 2010
Chinese New Year period is always great. No matter where you go, so be it; work or teach, you receive angbao as long as you are single. Hahaha, it's a real benefit to be single. I had a tiring day, maybe a semi tiring day. It's my first lesson for Primary 4 English class. Mmm, I don't mean the first time teaching Primary 4 English; I actually meant my first lesson in this particular class.

It's uber great, stressless with funny and hilarious students. Though they made mistakes at times, but it still brightens up my mood. Tuition centre actaully gave students angbao as well; not cash of course, probably some chocolates ( you know, the golden little ones). Haha, one my student exclaimed, "Confirm it's chocolates, where got so nice give money".

Haha, even kids also want moo-lah. Next she exclaimed, "Why you single? Wasted!". Laughs.

Photobucket

After my tuition, Teng sms me when I'm on bus. Right ahead, off I go to her house. We watched some gore movies, thanks to the Ng's Brother and Sister. I gonna have nightmare someday. It's so disgusting, stabbing here and there.

Funny thing was Baby Shijia being fenced up with cushion. She was running all about and her mum just can't be bother to follow her around. In the end, Baby Shijia was so desperate to run off that she climbed below the sofa and her mum got to pull her out. It's funny. Children can be cute but not when they poo. Shijia kept crying after her granny cleared her pampers.

Funny her, kept pulling my finger thinking it was some sweets or chocolates. Well, it does look like alittle. She kept crawling towards me and Teng obviously knew I'm afraid of small kids; yet she encourage her daughter to crawl over. Hahaha, I nearly become part time nanny during their dinner. Shijia stop crying each time the whole family sing song together. Nah, you must have thought that I'm kidding. Indeed, they sang songs together. Haha.

Btw, Shijia's only 8 months old who looks like her daddy. Teng sian each time I said that. Haha.

Her thoughtful bro sent me to the bus stop. Actually it's redundant, because no one will ever rob a church mouse. I'm the church mouse ( poor and broke).

Photobucket

19th February 2010
Here comes my new OCBC debit card. It has additional functions. Do check it out. I had decided to close my UOB account. First, it has no money in it; Second, it's more or less same as my nebo card. With OCBC card, I can watch movies at GV with 20% discount (abt there). Isn't it better?

Love the new card in red. Boom. Haha.

Photobucket

I stay up through the night to prepare assessments and exams paper for my students. As you see, CA1 is approaching and I really have to do something to refresh their memory. Kids are usually forgetful, they tend to forget what they had learnt previously.

I went online for researches, check out assessment books and outsource for some notes. I compiled everything based on their levels and did a print out. It's from Primary 1-6. Any tutors who are interested these resources may email me. I can drop you the link so that you can make some preparation for your students as well. Cheers.

I found papers like Ai Tong and Raffles. Haha, I combined them in a set. I guess my student's gonna hate me. But it's alright. It's for their own good.

Once in a blue moon

It's such a busy day, everything was in a rush. I woke up in shock (overslept) and jump into shower. Off Chris and I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza. Well, I've got to take passport photo for SIM application. It's such a double trouble. Haha.

We had our lunch at Bishamon. Drools.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I seriously can't remember what I had ordered (the name of dishes). Haha.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

I'm seriously damn hungry; really glad the food serve fast and quick. I've been missing Japanese food for quite sometime. Basically, I'm suffering from Post Japan Syndrome most of the time. Thinking of Udon and Bento as usual. Yums.

Photobucket

I love the cold dish (tofu). They added some mayonaise to the sauce. Drools.

Photobucket

I had a great lunch.

You know, it's very hard to meet up with my boyfriend. For those who read my blog, I guess you hardly get to see my bf's face. Haha. Finally, all of you get to take a look at his recent photo(s). Laughs.

Photobucket

Stupid us walked straight to the interchange without collecting my passport photo. We ended up walking double trip back and fro to the interchange. Oh dear, under hot sun with drizzles can kill. We took a bus to SIM and submit my certs and detail. Foolish me forgotten to bring the actual "O" level cert copy. I'm so pissed at myself for being careless and silly especially when my agenda is fully packed. I hardly draw time for myself; making a spare trip back to submit (for verification) can kill easily).

Thank goodness, Cassandra will help me to submit my "O" level cert. Love her the most.

It was about 5 plus for my Primary 1 tuitioning near my house and 8 plus for my Primary 4 tuitioning near Ah Mark's house. After tuition, I make preparation for exam papers setting. It was late and I couldn't make it on time to Teng's house. There goes my short catch up with SS and RH. Anyway, I made a trip to Ah Mark's house instead.

Well, silly her and kl encounter difficulty in submission of application. Mark's mum even asked me if I seek help from someone through the application. Haha, asking the obvious; I did. My bf was the best consultant. I inherit skills from him to help Ah Mark and Ah Mui. Oh dear, I'm doing free charity work. Cab home next.

Photobucket

Look at how lovely my student is. He save up his allowance just to buy me a box of chocolate. Well, I knew it's not something very expensive like Royce etc. He's just Primary 4, and he saved up to buy for me. It's so touching. Before I went off, I gave a few chocolate coins.

It's been sometime since I had such vintage chocolate coins. I used to eat that when I was a small girl. Haha. It's bringing me my childhood memories back. Laughs.

Shall end here.

Good day awaits ahead. Good luck everyone.

Cheers,
Jeanne

My Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day.

Well, it's a little late by I must still wish everyone's here reading. Haha.

May everyone in a relationship stay more blissful than ever. As you see, a strong relationship is hard to come by. You got to really treasure what you had. For my case, I won't say it's strong but considerable steady(if homewrecker could stop wrecking one day?). Laughs.

Well, those who have heard or been aware of the stories should have known better than I do. The humiliations and suffers that I been through. I just can't be bother to clarify everything. The more I clarify, the more I see the ugly truth. It's all so nasty, so be it. I've long treated them as the black face while I tried my best to put on a white mask; though it's turning purplish pain behind the mask. Boo. Therefore everyone should treasure their loves and not deciding about breakup over small little issues.

Loves is never about yourself, but a form of love you share and give to one another. It's the care and concern given, and best encouragement for you partner to move forward. This is what I called love.

Despite my logics, I honestly hereby declared I'm a 99% authentic attention seeker. Thus, I've numerous great attention seeking method. Haha, laughs.

Shopping Spree
"It's good to have a bf everywhere you go". Christopher had always agreed with this phrase. Oh ya, he's the one who came up with that. He always like to say this "No good meh, you get subsidies everywhere you go". Haha, sounds true isn't it.

Each time I tried to make purchases, he will take out his card/cash automatically. Otherwise, he will make subsidies for me when I just can't bear to spend. That's pretty shows how kindhearted he was to me. Laughs.

A million thanks to boyfriend, that I've gotten a new bottom from DP.

Apple Strudel
Next, bf took me out for some munchies. My favourite is definitely desert. He brought me for Apple Strudel. I love it to the max. I never really like Apple Strudel at Delifrance. It's too sweet and kind of sick after eating too much of it.

Ritz Apple Strudel is just nice. They sell in slices and whole cake. I thought it's going to be perfect for a birthday celebration as well. This might be what I yearned for my next coming birthday. I'll like a Strawberry one. Drools.

Photobucket

They have many other flavours like durian, mango and peach. I don't mind trying durian ones. I love durians. Some guys find it hard to accept girls who like durian; oh sound sad, yet I happened to be one of them. Love durians. Haha.

Photobucket

Apple Strudel (Above)

It's pretty awesome with Snapple.

Photobucket

Initially, we wanted to go for fine dining at Graze. Unfortunately, Graze doesn't operates on Chinese New Year. I'm sadded. Oh by the way, Graze is a fine dining restaurant for Italian food. Chris will bring me to Graze probably on our this coming anniversary. Maybe only; it's not a sure because we might chose another restaurant somehow. Haha. We'll see.

Holland Village
We decided to go Holland Village for dinner.

Photobucket

Al Dente
Al Dente (click to read more) is a restaurant which serves authentic italian food. It would be a perfect place if you adore pastas and pizzas. It looks more like a bistro to me ( in my own perspectives). Based on researches, many patrons claim or define it as a fine dining. I wouldn't say it's totally not.

With the excellent services and food provided, I would say it's a semi one. Still, I strongly recommend this restaurant for everyone. The price is reasonable and the food portion was just nice. The quality is definitely above average standard.

Some random shots.

Photobucket

Chris had his lobster and mussels spag while I ordered my polla alfredo.

Photobucket

Oh no, my fringe's getting long. Time to ka-char them. Haha.

Photobucket

Look at the table closely.

Initially, I thought it was the table cloth design itself. It was then I realised, it's real petals from roses. Sweet.

After dinner
The services was indeed excellent. The waitress serve us to the door and greeted us in a polite manner. Ambience was slightly above average and it's just wonderful to be there.

After dinner, we took a stroll around Holland Village. Woot, saw the Cold Rock Cafe Yan's been too. Thought of trying it, but I changed my mind later one. We chose Essential & Brew. Many famous DJ(s) or Superstar like Kelly or William Cheng patronized this restaurant oftenly. Do try it out someday if you happened to passed by.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We ordered a Brownie with New Zealand ice-cream (Cookie and Cream) on top and a basket of fries.

Photobucket

This is a great for slacking. Girls who are seeking for little chats or gossiping hours, this gonna be the best for it. They had similar Japanese seating styles (whereby you can sit on the floor with cushions). You gonna slack through comfortably.

Photobucket

My brownies and fries.

Photobucket

Look at his happy face.

Photobucket

That's the end about it.

Photobucket

This is what I wore for the day. Dress with Cardigen (untied knot actually) I'm a little conservative you see.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Valentine's celebration whether you are single or attached. Good day and good luck you everyone in love.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year Officially.

Photobucket

As usual, steamboat for the year. Haha.
