HongKong 2009 Day 5

Saddening news. My memory card which I brought to HK was corrupted. There goes my Day 5 photos. It's really MFPO. Although nothing much for the day, my photos were all so precious. At this point of time it decided to be corrupted. WTH, I seriously felt like crying. I called Christopher and started complaining, whining which goes on and on.

Anyway, he told me not to be sad. Alright fine. Because I'm getting a new camera in a few months time. I believe its not gonna happen again. I'll never let such history repeat itself.

Day 5 in HK
We just do our very last minute shopping and enjoy good food at restaurant. We roam around Toy Street. If you wanna get some unique toys at best rate like Gundam etc, try Toystreet. I'm glad it's Day 5 photo(s) and not the other days. Because I didn't really take much photo on Day 5. Sort of being shag after playing my best for days.

Alright, bye.

Hong Kong 2009 Day 4 Part 3

Snowing scene.

Let me say this, although HK disney was much much more smaller as compared to the rest. The fireworks is much more awesame and enchantic than Japan one. The one in HK actually lasted about 10 min and it really give you a kind of enchantic feeling.

Alright, maybe it apply to me only. I don't know.
I love their fireworks. I watched it twice in HK and I'm mesmerized by the beautiful colours and great music story at the bacground. The castle was attractive and beautiful which sparkles in the night depending on the seasonal change.

Good is good,
Bye is bye.
Now is time to say Good-Bye.

Photobucket

Crowd came in upon end of operating hours of Disneyland.

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's midnight and we were just too tired. Settle dinner with MacD. Oh ya, in HK, they have this mushroom + corn soup. It's very yummy. Do try it out when you are there since Singapore doesn't have it. =)

Photobucket

Good Night everyone.

Hong Kong 2009 Day 4 Part 2

It's snow everywhere. It'ssnowy. Haha. Alright, we went for Mickey and Minnie Phototaking session next.

Photobucket

It's uber cold when the wind blew. I felt icing on my face. I doubt my blood flows which explain why I look pale in all my photo. PS lah, I stay in Singapore; a permanent summer place just like dessert. You can't blame me for not adapting to winter.

Photobucket

Maybe I'm a bad girlfriend. We were in the queue for Mickey Mouse photo taking session. Oh my goodness, you can never understand how cold it was to me. Everyone was so cold that they each bought a piping hot sweet potato. But I can't, it's almost my turn.

Halfway, I ran away for my own entertainment. So I went to this mini-museum leaving my bf in the cold.

Photobucket

Photobucket

You must really watch this. It amused me alot. I was watching it slowly began spinning. During watching and videoing, more and more people join in to watch with me.

Photobucket

With the Mickey and Minnie Finally - Christmas Theme

Photobucket

It's super hungry after the shot lah. We had been suffering cold and wind for nearly an hour. This is worst than Japan. I still think Japan work more efficiently than HongKong. No wonder ppl said this "Doubt you ever want to step into other Disney after Japan and USA".

I totally agree with it.

Photobucket
Photobucket

We had pizza and sweet potato. Their sweet potato was really big. Almost the size of my 2 palm.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we proceed to the AdventureLand. I advise travellers to go during daytime. This is because there will be performer entertaining you only in the day time. It's gonna be too dark when night time falls.

Even so, I went there in the night time. This is because I've been there before and prefer to spend more time at the other areas. For instance, musical. Boohoo.

Photobucket

Photobucket

As usual, during the journey in the boat; there's will be an elephant spashing water onto you. Don't worry, you won't be getting too wet afterall.

Photobucket

It's so beautiful.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we went for the Mickey Musical.

Photobucket

It was great and the MC will be doing dances and singing on the stage. Although it's just a musical, but it really catches great attention. The dances with cartoon characters were awesome. Some even gave you hair standing effect. Boo hoo. Too bad, I'm not supposed to video in there.

You will be given a toy gun with detector; you shall shoot the target and record your points with your opponent. It's fun. But no prize given. Even so, you high score will be displayed there.

Before we went for the fireworks show, we went to collect our photo(s). And I gonna show you later on. It's so warm to be indoor.

HongKong 2009 Day 4 Part 1

It's my day to DisneyLand. Although HK one is the smallest among the others, I still love it. Even so, I love Japan Disney zillion times more. Boo, when is Christopher bringing me there again? Whines. Nope, I've used the wrong vocab. It should be "When is Christopher sponsoring me there again?"

Yea, that's the correct term. I really missed Japan lots when even I thought of Disneyland. I missed Udon, Ramen, Katsu Curry, Fried Prawn, Sushi and Pachinko. Laughs. My besties Elaine must be enjoying her life happily in Japan without my presence. She's really enjoying her studies and food there. To say it's not easy to gain weight in Japan; it's all nonsense. I gain 3 kg when I'm back from Japan. Isn't it amazed?

I should say everything is amazed there. I wanna go Japan again, again, again and again. I knew Christopher will bring me there again. For goodness sake, I wonder how many years later. Anyway, he's planning a big trip at the end of this year. Boohoo, it makes my day. I'll definitely get some sponsorship from him. Laughs.

Back to Disneyland
This(below) is the entrance tickets that I've bought from Citigate.

Photobucket

Before setting off to Disney, we ought to fill our tummy. Had dim sum and tea.

Photobucket

The picture of the Lotus Rice might look small to you, infact it was big. probably more than enough to serve 4 pax. It was nicer than the ones we had in Singapore.

Photobucket

I always love Spring Rolls, remember not to miss out such nice dim sum when you are at HK. After our brunch, we took MTR to Disneyland. Here we go.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Hoho, here I am @ Disney MTR station. They even construct the MTR under Disney Theme. Well, this is something that Japan does not have.

Photobucket

Photobucket

A general environment

Photobucket

This is the MTR station. Just as usual, you got to scan and go.

Photobucket

Oh, I missed this entrance much. This was the entrance I had been to 3 years ago. The memory was still very refreshing. It's like the old days when we were still young; travelling without parents companion. Hmmm, I guess I'm only 17 or 18 at that point of time. I could clearly remember it's during May. Breeze blowing against my face, definitely not as chilly cold as it was currently.

Photobucket

Despite being a Friday, a weekday; there's never ending crowd. But at least the crowd was times lesser than Japan ones. Nono, I should not compared with Japan ones. I should say "Singapore doesn't even have one". Sad to say; but it's a fact. Poor thing.

Honestly, I'm not really very enthusiatic about the Universal Studio that has been readily built in Singapore. I doubt the Batman would be tall, the superman might not be handsome; and so on. Totally had no faith in Singapore. I browse through forum at time; reading sarcastic remarks from foreigners about Singapore, made my heart float eventually. Gek sim.

Some were saying our esplanade looks like durian.
Some were saying Sg was trying to mimic the eyes of the fly.
Some were saying it's a combination of fruitfly.

Doesn't it gives you a heavy heart? I guess so.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

(Above) Trying on the goody cap. Lol.

Photobucket

Haha, I was enjoying myself with all sort of weird caps in the souvenir stalls. The stitch cap was cool. Anyway, it wasn't cheap after all. 30 bucks SGD might never be enough for it. Though, it keeps you keeps your head warm during winter. Yeah.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Before we could have our shots, there were a couple. They were spending almost a day just to set up their timer. Most of the waiting time, they aren't taking shots but settings. Desperately, we cut their queue. Oops, sounds bad. Who cares? If I gonna wait for them to get their business done taking their own sweet time, I would have died of waiting. By the time, i'm done with 6 shots, they are still doing settings. WTH. Heck care. It's their business afterall.

Photobucket

Look at the number of staffs in red. They camped from day to night taking pictures for tourist. Hahaha, the pictures cost almost 20 bucks. Boo!!! So expensive, but I still purchase them usually. Not just in HK, but almost everywhere I go. If I'm not wrong, I bought the most number of pictures in Aussie. LOL. Amazed, isn't it?

Photobucket

Photobucket

Winnie the Pooh

Here we went for the ride. I remember I love the ride 3 years ago. Seems magical for kids. The Pooh Bear will just turn upside down with lots of gimicks. It's absolutely cute.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Look at the crowd, I actually queued for 45 minutes. Tsk tsk.

Photobucket

PhotobucketPhotobucket

The seatings are so cute.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Take a look at some of the video(s).

Photobucket

Next, we went to watch the Philhar Magic of Mickey. It's a 3 or 4D show. You got to see Mickey and Donald dancing around. Silly cute little children would even stretch out their hand to grab the air. The image was so real and cute.

Photobucket

I seriously wonder about the number of loops in the queue. It looks never ending.

Photobucket

Photobucket

During the show, they even had water sprinklers sprinkling water onto you. Laughs.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We went for the next show with Snowing Theme. Kids and Adults were dancing around. The atmosphere was times better than Singapore one. I guess, if in SG sentoso, they were to make Singaporean dance around, the possibilies would be almost zero. Most probably, they would be standing like a stone, carrying their kids. And THAT'S IT. Am I right to say that?

Well, that is my personal opinion. You don't really have to agree with me.

Photobucket

You can purchase popcorns or cotton candy while waiting for the show to begin.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Look at the mermaid, I seriously don't understand how she can take the "coldness". The temperature is below 10 degree and she's wearing only her bikini costume. Amazed.

The Parade ends here.
