Going on and on

It's true that time flies, whether is it a second or just a blink away from reality. I've been looking forward to my next travelling trip with my besties. Whether it's near or far, so be it. A little getaway will do. I usually travel with bf since he can spoonfeed me with flooding knowledges and lead me the way out just like a GPS. I never fret over heavy luggages or bags because he always volunteer to reduce my load. Most of the time, my hands were entirely free and I just continued grabbing more and more.

The last trip I've been on with friends shall be Bangkok, probably around 2008 (you can check it out the left sidebar of my page). It's a fantastic trip. We had joy, fun and seasons in the sun living in our own happy world. We been to every little corner according to my itinenary. It's absolutely awesome especially when no time had been wasted. I'm sure that's what you want, isn't it?

Save up every single minute and spend it on the precious moment just like a dollar for a dollar. It's real big time. This time round, I'll be going to Kuala Lumpur with my 2 besties, Tard and Mw. It's my second trip with Tard, not really if we gonna include bits and pieces like Batam and Genting that's uber fabulous. It's my first trip with Mw after 10 yrs of friendship still going on. Awesome friends and understanding mates are the best travelling partners among all.

I'll be going on 2nd Sep and coming back on the 4th Sep. I booked the bus tickets and hotel rooms seperately. After a thorough analysis on benefits and cost consideration, we realised that it's cheaper to book it hands on rather than going through agency (which could be so much convenient yet costly). I booked my hotel room through http://www.agoda.com/ and I just can't wait to show you guys the big room Tard and I had chose. It's big and spacious that we could run about like no body business. Not the exact family room, but it's definitely good enough for us. So cya then and I'll be busy with postings.

Good night.

Cheers,
Pzyy

At the border

13th August 2011
Turn against your fear, manipulate you fear

I'm not exactly done with my previous post, I shall continue now. Piracy can be crazy wild in Malaysia. I came across something that caught me in amazement. For safety reason, I decided not to take a picture off it to show you. I mean, who knows what gonna happen to me the very next second. It's not home and I wanna be home safe and sound.

At the very beginning, I pondered to myself about the vacant cinema. There wasn't any queue at the tickets booth. Even if there was, the probability was minor. It was then I caught a glimpse of a signboard near a pirated CD or VCD shop. It said...

"We provide delivery services worldwide especially Singapore."

It definitely shocked me. I stood there for a moment. The graphics were absolutely clear and high quality that you can never imagine. It comes in Blue-Ray disc too (Cine surround etc). I guessed that's the main reason why everyone gathered around the shop rather than catching a movie.

As for me, I preferred theatre. It was a new theatre, that explained the comfortable seating with support for your head and you can simply lean against it. The movie tickets costed only RM24 for 2 person despite it's a weekend. It's cheap and worthwhile. Don't miss it out yeah.

After movie, it took us quite sometime to navigate out of the mall as it was midnight. Elevators may only get you to certain level. Never attempt climbing the staircase as the doors were all locked. It ain't similar to the way local shopping malls work. To be honest, I'm still clueless about how I got myself out of the mess. My golden advise shall be seek help from security guard and you will not waste your precious time making rounds that turned you spinning.

Hold tight onto your bag or valuable when you are outdoor in the middle of the night. There might be group of bikers that went wild wild nut on the street. They might come out with stunts, hitting against road blocks trying to mess with you. I seriously don't feel comfortable towards that. Hence, I recommend you not to return home at night as it might be dangerous. It's best to travel home in the day. Else you can stay a night and return home the next afternoon if you can afford the time.

14th August 2011
Shining bright and lit the land.

Yawn, the hotel was simple yet comfy. It's definitely a comfy environment to sleepover if you are not looking for any high class hotel. It's definitely good enough. The breakfast was simple but I don't really enjoy it. There was few varieties for me to choose from.

Our dining area.

We had an early breakfast and went back to our room and nap till 11am. It's so boarish of us, acting like some animals under hibernation during the winter. Bf picked this Causeway Bay Restaurant. Well, my advice shall be run as far as you can when it's in your sight. It's budget though, but not up to my liking.

It's the second day and I'm not well prepared for the second day. I brought nothing much with me except a pyjamas sleeping tee for the night. My face was absolutely bare as I brought neither sunblock not makeup set with me. So don't mind huh...

Something dampened my mood further. Bf fished out a feedback form from the holder and we found this feedback from a Singaporean. Apparently, we should make our way out of the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had placed our order and there's no turning back. I had the urge to feedback too.

It SUCKS!

Get my hint?
I doubt I need explanin further.

Next, we went round looking for shades. Bf wanna get a pair of shades.

Photobucket
In my opinion, it's cheaper to purchase shades in Malaysia. It's definitely cheaper than the usual. Bf got his shades at SGD 150 and it's Ray-Ban. Yup, my bf is a fan of Ray-Ban which I had no idea why-why. Lol.

Photobucket
We roamed about before heading home. We did shop around Citysquare, but there's nothing much there. Alittle too boring for me after I get to know KSL.

Home sweet home.

Good night everyone and have a nice day ahead.

Lit a light in the dim

13th August 2011
The winner takes it all, the loser standing small.

I was famished and decided on this restaurant called Kinsahi. It was the interior that caught my attention. I hardly get to see restaurant that was so big and spacious. I'm paying the price of a meal at Ichiban but I'm getting an ambience that was ten times better. The food was above average, definitely I wouldn't wish to boast about how excellent and tasty they were when they weren't up to my expectation. Well, I'll definitely visit there again for it's cheap and good services.

You can pick your preferences for seating, by the man-made pond or sofa seating. You can hear clear crisp of water flow while having your meal. Beautiful beads curtain hanging by the side that brighten your mood.

It's an awesome meal that cost less than RM40. If you are looking for cheaper varieties, do keep a lookout for crepe and cone pizza at Level 2 if I'm not wrong. The mall is rather big (probably bigger than Vivocity) that explained myself walking in lost all over the mall.

Do try out this yoghurt ice-cream stall. Probably less than RM6 only. We got the strawberry flavour. I never really have special likings towards yoghurt. To be exact, I'm not a fan of it. But this strawberry flavour was really nice. It's neither too sweet nor sour. Just nice.

Strawberry Yoghurt ice-cream

Next, I had my dinner at Dragon Eastern Restaurant. It was recommended online by a podder. I was browsing around and came to realise that this restuarant had appeared on newspaper numerous time. I'm not gonna lose a hair just to try out the food. So here we go, oops went I mean.
Photobucket
You can tell it's pretty rundown if you gonna compare the interior with restaurants in Singapore. It's kind of common to see such traditional restaurant, with waiters and waitresses in traditional uniform in Malaysia. I'm not expecting any fine dining. When I travel, I'm looking at price and quality of food more than the interior. To be honest, I'll be happy too to see beautiful interior. It's the food that MATTERS to me.

Metal plate deer meat

It's very fresh, and you can tear the meat easily. Freshest one I ever had.

Chrysanthemum tea

Seafood claypot with beancurd

This was really tasty but alittle expensive as they charge according to pieces of beancurd. The shrooms and prawns were absolute fresh that you gonna taste the crisp. The reason I love it is because they use fresh raw fish meat unlike the ones we had that replace with fish cake to cut cost.

Cereal prawn

The cereal prawn was not in the menu. If you like cereal prawn like I do, you can put it on special request. I'm sure they gonna prepare the dish the way you want it to be. I had not idea what cereal they are using, it came in round form which turned out to be crispy. I'll definitely order it again.

Photobucket
You must not missed out SWENSEN. They are having promotion on ice-cream. I'm not too sure if it's long term or short term promotion. You can get 2 cones with your ice-cream selection at RM6 only. It's a great deal yeah.
