Happy Valentine's Day

Aha! It's finally Valentine's Day. We didn't really made any superb plans as there gonna be big crowd at almost all restaurant. So we went out rather late in the evening. It was then i was surprised with flowers. *Oh blink*



Not really surprised, as i almost get it annually. Not something new either.

We just went to for some minor shopping. I even paid a visit to that pineapple tart.



We thought of going to Capella(fine dining) at Chijmes though, but it's gonna be crowded as you see it's Valentine's lei. So we lower our expectation by a little by considering Ichiban or Manhattan at PS. To our damn holy surprise, it was flooded as well. WTH??? Hahaha... Anyway, we just make do with Fish&Co. Surprisingly, there was no queue. Let the pics summarize a little.

I don't see super big crowd and yet we waited for 20 mins before the the drinks were served. LOL.

Right after our dinner, we went for movie. We watched Benjamin's button. Oh, it was a really very nice show about reverse cycle of life on a man. Instead of growing from young to old, he did it a different way with a romantic love story.

After the late night movie, it was rather late. We took NR3 home since we have not taken any since my bf started driving.

Anyway, it seems like many people were seriously affected by the economic crisis. I remembered last year atmosphere clearly that my bf bought me 6 or 9 roses (well, i don't remember) and i was making complains about not receiving a bigger bouquet of flowers.

If you one of them walking on the street of Orchard Road, you will definitely realise the probability of people holding on to their roses is only 1/15. Oh well well well, it was just a simple celebration i should say.

Let's pray hard that i'll still get to celebrate this day next year when my bf got in NS.

Never ending....

Hohoho - It's another cookie making session. Met Cass at Woodland so as to get all my stuffs for my cookie making session.

Off we go carrying all the stuffs to Cass's house. So we got started off with the blending of butter, ready-mixed and egg. Stirred till everything was properly mixed before we set the shaped on the baking paper.

We made a few tries before we got the result above. Previous tries were either too big of too thick. We figured it out about the temp, time and other relater reasons before we were succeeded.

It doesn't look that nice, but honestly it can be eaten and consume safely.

Hoho - it's the result of my cookie making session.

Great purchase

Valentine's Day approaching in just a few more days and i've not made any preparations for that at all. So Cass waited for me till i knocked off for the day. All working days were simply horrible especially when you are facing those rich taitai(s) with horrible attitude.

We'll skipped that part. So Cass and I went PS to get our stuffs. Oh yeah, we met Sebestian there and he gave us fabulous discount. Really thanks him alot since the stuffs we bought ain't cheap.

After we've got everything, we went to Hong Kong Cafe.

Extraordinary gathering

Nah - it's seems to be a dreadful long time since Yan and I got together. Hell no, i ain't talking about the stupid 1hr break during our working period. It's not enough for us to crap except whining and making complaints etc.


Therefore i waited for Yan to knock off. It's a rainy day and i went to Escada for shelter and some drying. Next, we went to our usual shopping spot. I tried one Ms selfridge top and there isn't my size.


Off we go to MSQ. Yan hate tha place as she gonna walk a super long way before she could reach the MRT station. Anyway, it should be good for her. She need some marathon once in a while.


There, i tried exactly the same size and the cutting is slightly bigger. *Hurray* and i got it at 70 bucks. Gonna faint due to bankruptcy soon. As for Yan, she ponder over the grey short and black high waisted pant for quite sometime. Of coz, i told her to get the grey one. Omg, you never know how many pieces of high waisted pant she got.


Next, we went for dinner at 9.15 sharp since i asked the waitress beforehand about the last order timing. We eat with holy big stress as the waitress kept looking at us hinting us to go.

They introduce us a dish, and i could hardly remember the name as it taste horrid. Yan and I ended up digging for the pasta and mud pie leaving the horrid one untouch. LOL.

It was finally they off the light before we made our moves. Well, well, well, i think they should have given us more time instead of busily clearing those plates. It was so rude looking at us. We knew we were late in, but they are responsible for the slow preparation of food as well. Eews, anyway Yan and I really enjoy our day. It was damn fun. Woo- hoo...
