Making a difference

Many people will walk in and out of your life, But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

Humans can be blinded at times. Friends drift away at times for a healthy distance before a blissful catchup. Friends drift away for being neglected or maybe dishonesty. The only way to keep a friendship going, is to open up to one another. Things change when you start to bottle your grudges, unhappiness, the truth. These are the ugly factors.

So one day, if your friend, your close friend, your best friend starts to leave you, or keep a distance from you. Maybe it's time to ask yourself...

What could have caused that to happen?

Well, it's not easy to pluck up the courage to answer that question sincerely. But sometimes, we humans, ought to reflect. If you really cherish your friend, you will know the reason behind everything.

Mmm, it's a personal opinion. It's your personal choice to make changes or not. Fate lies in your hand.

Think about it before it's too late.

My life,my message

This afternoon, I was browsing my Facebook when I came upon a shocking post. A couple that I know of, broke up. It was not something that I should comment on but to show the basic respect. I'm here to talk about my thoughts instead.
It is not easy to find 'someone'. It is not easy to keep a ship going without effort. But, ten years down the road, or maybe even longer or shorter than that, no one can tell what's behind the road. I've been through a 3 years and a 7 years relationship. I had to say, everything ended well. Still, they ended. My friends were surprised to know except me, feeling plain. That's all.

No one ever knows what's down the road. Let the nature takes its course and follow your heart. Everything will fall into place eventually. I don't believe much in fate. I believe in carving your own paths to where you go.

Cherish your love ones always. Be it your lover, friends or family.

Pluck a thistle

16 March 2014
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky.

It's been so long since we last met up. Well, that's exaggerating. The fact is, we meet on monthly basis and that's more than enough for busy women like us. Even so, we compromise to make our date work. Now you know, it takes 2 hands to clap. We both adjust our schedules to fix a day out. It could have been earlier but I went to the Doraemon's Exhibition the week before.

No fret, she still manage to meet me before her trip to Hong Kong with her family. I really hope she has an enjoyable time after so many years of hard work.

#Lunch of the day

We were unable to decide if we should visit KSL or probably a change of destination. It's the March's holiday for school and you knew it's gonna be packed like sardines. Unfortunately, my nails was in a critical condition. It was so bad that I could no longer take it anymore. I was so tempted to trim them by myself. But ya'know, my 'DIY' fails all the time. I had to do it at the same outlet. I'm probably being too used to their good service and quality. I'm not into nail art. I probably prefer something plain and simple so that it doesn't affect my job.

Upon meeting Teng at Woodland Interchange, I felt relieved to see hers in a worse condition than mine. I'm not being sadistic. It's just another way of comforting myself. Seriously, it does make me feel better and I bet she won't blame me for it since she was in a holiday mood. Not only that, she even text me pictures of food during my working days. That's sadistic. Rofl.

Anyway, the queue at the JB checkpoint was god damn long. One of the longest we ever encounter. Fortunately, the queue moved fast.

#Doing manicure

She was done and I was not. To my surprise, she wanted to take selfie while the manicurist was buffing my nails. Well, that's a tough one for me. I'm great in multi tasking. Yep, did I mention that I colour my hair. I think I forgotten about it. Yay, I have brown hair and it's the first time I got the colour right. I have real black hair (you may compare to my earlier posts for older photos). It's like jet black or even darker than that. Hairdressers love to ask me if I coloured my hair black and they'd be surprise to find out I did not. They were telling me not to dye it because it's a healthy glow and many wanted that healthy glow. Oh, to the hell with it please, I want to have black hair but not so black like my original ones. It's way to dark. There's another issue that's quite bothering actually. Every hairdresser has difficulties in dyeing my hair. I always get a 3 to 5 tone darker colour than the intended choice because of my black hair. You may not believe it but it's true. Well, this time round, I picked a blonde colour. I was expecting the blonde to turn out 3 to 5 tone darker which was the initial brown I wanted. Yay! I got it right man this time round. Here's my brown hair. Muahahaha, feeling pleased.

#Beautiful couple shoes for us

We got this baby for RM25 each and it was a great deal. Here we go, getting a pair of sister shoes. Let's wear it together some day and mark footprints for our 10 over years of friendship. Gosh the number makes me feel OLD. Sad to say, I am not young anymore.

#Dinner for the night

Had dinner at Season when a little girl or boy (I can't really differentiate) irritates Teng with his balloons. Then he broke the silence of the restaurant by bursting his balloons. I was wordless about his act when the parents did nothing much to stop him. Heck care, not my boy or girl anyway. We bought candies before heading to the Checkpoint. Thank god, there was no queue at all. What a perfect day!

Glittering

Oh yeah, I finally had my ugly nails done. I can't imagine how I survive with cracks since I last did before Chinese New Year. Best part of all, I broke my toe nail again. It seems to be an annual event for me. Anyway, I gotten it done with acrylic. Have a great day!

Breakage

I find myself to be weird lately. I'm actually avoiding night life which used to be one of my favourite activity. Well, not entirely one of my favourite but definitely one of the best activity when you have nothing to do when the sky turns dark. Maybe, it's partly due to my tiredness. My mind is in a whirl state because sleeping is my only interest. I enjoyed staying home much. Maybe I'll lose friends because I choose to stay home. But seriously, I don't really care about losing any of them not because I don't give them a damn; but the fact that, I believe that true friendship isn't about being inseparable, it's about being separated and nothing changes.

I don't wish to meet for the sake of meeting but rather meet for the sake of interest. Interest that includes care and concern rather than picture narcissism flooding all over the wall of Facebook with no reality. Well, it's an ugly truth that we had to agree that some people take photo with friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends from different world and make a simple story into a fairytale looking blissful and happy when it's all empty within.

A picture speaks a thousands word just like doing creative writing. People pen down thoughts and imaginations. Even so, the real author knew the breakage best.

I have no time to entertain such nonsense. Leave me alone (forever, if possible) if that's what you are looking for.

My sweet three

11th November 2013
The photograph itself doesn't interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality.

It was an awesome stay at Sheep Chimney. First of all, I got to say, it's very-very-very out of the place. It might be easy to find the place if you are a local or a tourist who travel to Hualien on frequent basis. For me, it's my first time there. My bf is considered a a frequent traveller to Taiwan because a part of his family resides at Taipei. Even so, bf did not know the public transport mode to Sheep Chimney. It is definitely not anywhere near to Hualien City area. I strongly suggest that you should hire a cab to the place.

#Dining area

I had a good sleep that night because the room was way too cute for me. I was sleeping in a tent despite numerous occasions when I tripped onto the wooden stand of the tent when I had to pee in the night due to over eating and drinking. It was mad painful but it was absolutely cozy. This was probably one of the best room at Sheep Chimney. I was mad excited when I saw this little homestay online. Despite the expensive cost, bf still booked the homestay because it pleased my mood.

The breakfast was delicious and it was strictly homemade by the owner of homestay. She was pretty observant upon our arrival and served us the breakfast shortly. She even promptly reminded us about being punctual for the train. We were less sensitive and worry about the time unlike her, worrying that we would miss the train. She hired a cab to sent us to the station the night before. It was really nice of her.

#The goats

With the theme of Sheep Chimney, she reared 3 goats in a shed in front of her house. She has a big and beautiful garden that I failed to take a shot of it as we were in a great rush. It would be great if we could stay longer at the homestay. Unfortunately, we had a train to catch.

We hopped on to the cab and made our way to the train station. Here we boarded a train to Sun Moon Lake. I really dislike travelling with baggages. Fortunately, bf carried every single thing for me except my little bag with tissues. I had a frequent tendency to visit toilet. Subconsciously, I was trying not to visit toilet on trains because it was said to be dirty.

#Ticket counter to Sun Moon Lake

Our next destination was Sun Moon Lake and we bought bus ticket to Shueishe where our homestay was located. Worse, the weather was getting cooler each day. Oh my, I did not bring any thick clothes with me. I would have brought them along if I knew it (because bf's friend who met us at Taipei on the first day claimed that the weather was damn hot, sigh)

Upon arrival, we simply dumped our baggages at the Doris Home (homestay) and left shortly after because we had a ferry to catch. It's the last ferry by the way. I was like.. Oh No!! Fortunately, there was a time schedule for the ferries. I was famish because I had my breakfast too early and we skipped our lunch to catch the train. We bought sausages!

There were many flavours to choose from. We had the original, fish roe and squid ones for ourselves. Then the stall vendor suggested taking a photo for us. That's when many tourist came along requesting for the same shot as well.

#The quiet street

Sun Moon Lake is a quiet street. If you are looking for entertainment or shopping loots, this might not be a right place for you. There's nothing there except their quiet street unless you are taking a ferry to tour the lake and a few places of interest like temples or trail walks. It is impossible to walk along the trail in my opinion because the route is really long unless you are riding a bicycle. Get a electric bicycle, it will make your life easier when you are going up a slope. Rofl.

I thought that red tea ice-cream was gonna be good and special. Well, it was just an average, not much to my liking. So, I gave everything to bf and he was forced to finish all the craps.

We arrived at Xuan Guang Si eventually. It is a must to try their tea leaf egg. It was one of the best tea leaf egg I ever had. Instead of using tea or tea leafs to brew the egg, we realised that mushroom was used. Even so, they still called it tea leaf egg rather than mushroom egg.

#Buying egg

I told him about the famous tea leaf egg and bf knew he had to try it. We got 2 more later on and bf finished up the egg yolk for me because I only love egg white. Poor thing, looking back at incidents, I realised I was being tyrannical all the times.

Seriously, I hated stairs alot after the Taiwan trip. Alright, I hate it even before my trip there. There were stairs everywhere. I took a long walk up multiple flights of stairs before my arrival at the temple. I was gasping for air and the cool air choked my breathe. The air was very refreshing but not when a man is tired. Rofl.

He was about to jumped when the shutter snapped his unglamorous moment. Even since then, I was laughing about his good position that resembles passing motion. He hated me to the max. Being a nice gf, I censored away his 'cute' expression. Nevertheless, good friends are still able to see the original ones from my Facebook.

You should never fail to stop at souvenir shops everywhere you go in Taiwan because they have signature products from each area. Since it was a rather quiet and peaceful street, there's nothing much we could do except navigating around the area near our homestay.

I was mad famished by then when the restaurant we intended to patronize was fully booked and packed with patrons. We were told to come back after an hour or so. That's a pretty long wait and we headed back to the dining area of our homestay to have some coffee and fruits.

Finally there were seats available for the two of us. We quickly sat down and placed our order. After dinner, there was nothing much to see except pitch darness. Oh no, it was only 9pm or so. Despite so, we headed back to the homestay for an early night so that we had sufficient energy to comb our next destination.
