Do you know me?

You know my name, not my story. You've heard what I've done, but not what I've been through.

When the sun goes down

27th May 2012
Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

It was a perfect weather to picnic. We originally arranged it on the 26th, due to partying on a Friday's night. My darling and I forever require and entire day of rest completely to recoup our energy lost. The reason is simple, because we always had breakfast after partying till dawn. Therefore saturday turned out to be a resting day.

We went to Marina Barrage for kite flying. Woke up rather early, met mw at Bukit Panjang to buy food. The hardworking ones prepare, the lazy ones BUY. Bought loads of craps like sushi, cakes, kueh, finger food as well. We reached around 4pm plus unlike those late ones. No sense of punctuality. *Rant x 1000000* We set up the picnic mat by ourselves before their holy arrival. Sop decided to drive over as she thought it was stupid to carry a fish rod like object. The fish rod object is her Doraemon kite actually.

A hungry man is an angry man. I'm pretty sure you heard of it. Upon realising Jacky and Jason gonna be late, her face turned blue within seconds. Anyway, due to their lateness, they compensated with Country Pie (from coffee club) and Pizza. Absolutely forgiven.

Jason finally arrived not long after Jacky. I already told him to walk by the circuit, but Jason took the wrong way and walk the hard way. Our pizza arrived finally. Sop brought Sky along. Ahhhh, I hate him. Because he use the damn word "huan lo" on me. It's a term in hokkien. Not really sure about the real meaning behind it. I guess it's something like none of your business. Anyway, I dont care if he's drunk when he said that, I'm not a pushover either. He was just being rude without a valid reason.

I texted Sop several times asking her if she's reaching. I understood that she was driving, but Sky took her phone and replied me that she wasn't coming. It was not meant to be a joke. Not a freaking joke when 4 people were waitng under the damn hot sun even though it's windy. Apparently he got shit from me upon his arrival.

I'm not really that nasty either. I got a bad mouth at times, but forgive and forget fast at the same time. After mind torturing him for quite a while, I became a nicer person. Lol. Unfortunately, it was all too late. He was badly traumatized by then. Hahahaha.

I'm so proud of that.

It was like some aftermath effect.

Full credits to Sop for bringing the kite for us. She was so-so-so nice lately. Nice like crazy. She brought her Doraemon kite for us to play. Isn't it cute?

During the kite flying, a kid came to me. He was so happy to see Doraemon when I was holding it in my hands. It was the only Doraemon for the day. Many kids were cheering for the flying Doraemon in the sky. I had some difficulty in answering when the kid asked me why Doraemon flies.

I just told him Doraemon flies on a windy day.

His mom was in shock when she heard me. HAHAHAHA.

The string roller (the tool I was holding) was faulty. I need to shake before wheeling. I shaked it so much that I found myself looking dumb. Anyway, we did it. With the help and guidance from Sop, the kite flew and soar high in the sky.

We were so tired running about. We were cheering excitedly like some mad women. The onlookers must have thought we were mentally unsound to be scream away over a kite. It was my first ever kite flying experience. Billion credits to Sop, without her help, it wouldn't have been so successful. Furthermore, we had the cutest kite (in my opinion).

Handed the kite to Jason and Jacky.

It was then I realised that it was quite awkward to see 2 guys flying kite together. I'm sure it was a great experience for them. There might be sparks. I'm sure Jacky wouldn't want to read this. Anyway, they sux at kite flying. Not only that, they came back with badly tangled string which took them nearly an hour to repair.

Sop was speechless and she felt heartpain for her Doraemon. It became shorter. The string was so badly entangled that they had to snip of a big part. Sop must be heartbroken.

Jason gave it a second try. Still, it was badly entangled. Sop couldn't bear to see her Doraemon growing shorter, she decided to fix it by herself. *Thumbs up* She was successful on the repair without cutting any part of the string. The ladies did a better job.

#Repairing in process.

Everyone was struggling about cutting the string without a scissors. No one had a scissor and it was a dead knot. I volunteer to bite it off, but no one believe it's possible. This lasted for the next 10 minutes plus. So I bit it off in split seconds as they stared in astonishment. Gosh, I had superb teethy. It was at a very later part when Jason finally came back with a scissors. Lol.

It was a super great day having fun out there. I conclude kite flying is damn fun.

Credits to:

Mw - For her cake, sandwiches, mat
Sop - For her kite, seaweed chicken and hotdogs
Sky - For his mat and muffin and LED light
Jason - For his pizza
Jacky - For his Country pie, drinks and his effort in taking awesome candid shots.

I really think Jacky did a pretty good job in photo taking part. The pictures were awesomely taken. He took the entire process of us doing the kite flying. Not only that, we even manage to see fireworkds that lasted for quite a while. It's some NDP rehearsal I guess. It was so beautiful and we didn't expect to see it. It was a surprise.

Thanks everyone for putting in your effort.

Let's plan our next session soon. Or maybe something else. Let me think about it. Haha.

Have a nice day.

Pzy

Rooftop prince

I had been chasing a new korean drama lately. It's a mad awesome drama, unlike the typical rich and well-to-do with a poor lady (Forever poor lady, why can't it be the other way round). This talks about time travel, pretty hillarious. MUST WATCH!!!

Rooftop Prince is a SBS television series about Crown Prince Yi Gak of Joseon whose wife, the Crown Princess, poisoned . Suspecting his wife has been murdered, Crown Prince Yi Gak hires three men outside the court to act as his private task force and find the culprit. Mysteriously, while searching clues for the culprit, they travel 300 years into the future and land in modern-day Seoul in the rooftop apartment belonging to Park-ha, who has returned to Seoul from U.S in search of her biological parents. Soon after landing in the modern day Seoul, and to his surprise, he runs across a woman that looks exactly like his drowned crown princess. However, he soon finds out that there is also a man, looking exactly like himself, who lived in the modern day Korea. Although with difficulty, the men, with the help of Park-ha, try to fit into modern times while trying to reconnect with the past and solve the mystery of the his wife's death.

Decryption

It's Saturday. I had a great party with my darling and sop last night those everyone was acting like a zombie after a hard day of work. Well, it's just so hard to reject Friday night. Mw and I met up with Jason for dinner at Manna Story located at Plaza Singapura. Quite a great meal though. Jason was eating like mad-slow and he even wanted dessert after that. Sop was hurling vulgarities like mad upon learning that she gonna camp thru by herself at the winebar by herself. How hillarious was that?

Fortunately she met her friends there, so perfect waiting. The best part was, I met Huiying and Adeline at Zouk too. Great, party together. How fun was that.

The picture below was taken quite sometime go. C'mon, tell me, make a quick guess.

Which is Long Island Tea?
Photobucket
#Long Island Tea

Tehee, BOTH. We went with Sop and Anth. He made a special order for the ladies. Apparently, it's no longer Long Island tea. Coke-less that made us swallowed in difficulty. We ended up mixing coke to it by ourselves. Anthony made 3-4 trips to the bar for extra coke. Lame to the max. It was a fun day and Sop was mad sweet that night.

Mmm, should I cut bangs or maintain my side fringe instead? Zzzzz...

Bonjour! Have a great weekend like I do.

Good luck everyone!

Ignorance is a bliss

There are never-ending detestable people around us. I would be grateful if they could just vanished in my life, into the thin air without dragging me into unneccesary shit. I see no reason why should I clear the mess that are not created by me. I never mentioned a word didn't mean I'm not lending a helping hand.

I seriously wonder what sin have I commited to deserve this. Ignorance is meant to be a bliss, but it turn out my ignorance brings about Tsunami.

The older the fiddler, the sweeter the tune

22nd May 2012
Youth is happy because it has the ability to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.

It's Chris's Birthday. In fact, it's just another year older. I have a love-hate feelings for birthday every year. I feel happy because it's a big occasion for me as though i gonna sprung out of a stone anytime. Sounds exaggerating, I bet I know that. Indeed, it is/was. We went to Tanglin Mall. Oh ya, it's where Cassandra used to work. It reminded me of the old times visiting the outlet where she work. The restaurant is known is Spageddies. I love their pasta, it's pretty awesome. I never forget the salad with crunchy bread crumbs served. Tanglin's outlet closed down few years back. It's still available @ Orchard Central according to Cass.

We went to Beviamo Caffe for brunch. No GST and service charge, but they would appreciate tips. How cool was that huh!

#Kitchen

It was an open kitchen concept. No worries about spit into your soup and drinks. I'm just kidding. No one would spit into your drinks and soup unless you are nasty to the crew, I guessed so. But such things can be unpredictable. Open kitchen gave me a wide eye wonder about how they handled food and organised their chores.

#Casear salad dressing with smoked salmon

I never really like salmon. Probably only those completely cooked or fried ones from Yoshinoya. I never really like smoked salmon either. Yup, it's been "smoked". But it still looked raw to me. Anyway, I just summarised in short that I hate raw food. I had difficulty appreciating them. Lol. I'm weird, and I know.

I love mushrooms. Maybe I resemble one (Sound sad, I know). I always love a particular type of shroom. I got to know the name of the shroom through steamboat session. Wth, at an age of almost ## (ahem) and I'm still unable to differentiate different types of shrooms and veggies. Sounds pathetic. Zzzz.

We went to watch The Raid Redemption. It was an Indoneasian movie which I thought it might not be good. In fact, it turns out the other way round. I gonna raised my thumbs for it. No computer effects had been used and they fought fiercely. Comparable to Jackie Chan? Probably so, I was so taken back by the entire movie. My eyes was glued to the screen despite gory scenes. It was definitely worth watching. That is why people always said that we should never judge anything by its cover. How true.

5 stars for it. *Thumbs up*

Chris drove to Dempsey Hill. Ever since he got GPS, he never went the wrong way again. Mmmm, solely dependent on GPS. I'm so curious, expecting programming error in the GPS someday. What would the consequences be and so on? Curiosity kills the cat.

#The Roadhouse

We decided to settled our dinner at The Roadhouse. The ambience was pretty nice. Services great, the crew attended to us promptly whenever we need their help. They did a good recommendation on their food as well. It was then I caught a glimpse of "donuts". In fact, it wasn't donut but onion rings. It's awesomely cool. I shall show it to you.

#Onion rings

I love the onion rings. It was damn big LAH! It was exactly my fist size. Trust me, it's real onion within. Probably better than Burger King's ones. The surface was piping hot and crispy even after an hour. I'm sure it's one of the popular dish there. Many patrons ordered it as well.

#Mac and cheese with Bolognaise

I love Mac and cheese. It's an all time favourite. This was slightly different. The base was bolognaise while Mac and cheese on the top layer.

Photobucket #The ribeye

The food was great. I'll definitely visit Roadhouse again. Well, only if there's car. Because I'm fat and lazy. I can't walk long distance for goodness sake. Chris drove pass the bus stop and I saw people strolling. Gosh, the route was crazily long. I might not be aware of any shortcuts. But I'll definitely not walk all the way in there. I might die of heat stroke or fatigue anytime. Stamina is dying as I aged.

Have a nice day, peeps.

Horrible weather, so take care yep.

Cheers,
Pzy
