A hug is like a boomerang

23rd December 2011
True friends are the ones who know you and love you just the same.

The ladyboss was really nice enough to let us in without extra charges. She even gave us free drinks upon request. Well, credit to Xiao Xuan since she was a frequent patron. Everyone chose their own songs and await the queen's arrival. Well, there's something special about this queen. She can really make the environment emotionally down by singing really sad song. Everytime, I'll just wonder to myself if the singer was still an earthling. It sounds bad of me, but through the MV, I'm sure you gonna find it unbelievable. Everyone sang and danced, intending to take a short break once the queen arrive.

The birthday girl arrived eventually. Here's a picture of the Tan's sister. They look really alike though they deny it. Well, I guess they look more alike in real life.

Finally, we took one family photo, nah, I mean group photo without the birthday girl. She was too engrossed in singing. Sing non-stop and attempted to hide the microphone from Huiyee. Basically, Huiyee was a natural loudspeaker. She can sing without a mic just like me. My voice is considered loud, and yet she beat me to it. She was many times louder.

Photobucket

Weird feeling about the shot above. Huiyee just looked like an umbrella from me and lay qing.

Finally...

Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to Siau Shian.
Happy Birthday to you.

Look at ther fiery cakes. Haha, it was my intention of giving her a burning cake. Jhi Han was the one who lit all the candles. Not me, not me.

All of loves

23rd December 2011
It was love, that brought us together.

It was a festive season where everyone got together for a celebration. In fact, I enjoyed camping home during festive season. As you see, I'm just trying my best not to put in a part in causing jam. Y'know, everone plays a part. Nah, I'm just kidding. It's Siau Shian birthday, therefore we planned a celebration for her. I met Huiyee at Lot 1 in the late afternoon. I seriously dislike Lot 1, I find myself stupid and dumb to wander there all the time as if my soul wasn't around. It's near to my workplace, that explains my frequent visit. We had pastamania, the best and cheapest choice among all.

Next, we went around in search of presents. I got mine, for gift exchange programmes. I got a body shop gift set. Basically, this idea originated from Meiwen. I got the gift pack and then I realised my membership expired. What a waste of money. Then I went to Sasa and got everyone a bonus gift. Furthermore, I was in love with Sasa's zipper gift pack. It was cute even though it's in pink (detestable colour).

Wanling and Xiao Xuan came along eventually. Then, we went around to look for cakes. Oh, I paid $2.30 just to get Siau Shian 23 candles for her birthday. What a fiery birthday! I couldn't stop imagining her with a burning cake. It tickled me much, and then my heart set. Without hestitation, I got her 23 candles. The auntie was in agony. She kept insisting giving me 2 big and 2 small candles. Oh man, that's not what I meant. I meant to play prank on her. Anyway, she sold me the candles eventually. Then we took 188 to Cedans which is know as Home Team now from what I see.

Photobucket

We reached the place finally. Kept the cake safe at the counter before going to the washroom to touch up for Huiyee. She had a big big big big big pimple right underneath her nose and on the chin. Well, it's hard to avoid camera when your pimple is too big. Therefore, here I am, doing the touch up for her. My skill is great, you can't really see her pimple. Proud of myself.

There's something good about Huiyee's presence. We will have endless flood of pictures. Unfortunately, a bad point definitely lies in between the good one. You had difficulty not to see her face in every single photo. I did a count. Among 184 photos, 170 of them consist of Huiyee. How scary...

Worst, she even question me back about what happened to the other 14. It tickles me till now even.

Next up shall be the arrival of the Birthday Girl.

I had been feeling sick for the entire week. Fever followed by cough. I felt asthmatic each time when I cough. I went to see a doctor. Unfortunately, I had no cough when I consulted the doctor. It was later part when the cough came in. Poor me, I just don't wanna spend a second round of money on consultation. Anyway, weather's really bad. Rain and sun at frequent interval. Drink lots of water.

Peeps!

Good luck.

For the vision

6th November 2011
A picture is a poem without words.

Good morning! We went to do some really last minute shopping before heading home. So we had our brunch at this small eatery. Well, I wasn't quite sure if the porridge gonna be nice or bad. It's just that we saw many people patronizing the outlet, therefore we went to try it out.

Photobucket

To my surprise, it really taste good. It's really cheap and you can never expect plain porridge to taste that good.

Next, we wanted to catch a movie. As usual, we smuggled yummies into the theatre. Who cares, I'm sure many does it too.

We watched a Hong Kong horror movie that was rather lame. Lol.

Photobucket

After movie, we went to try out the cookie monster cupcakes. It wasn't that bad.

I was so engrossed in eating that my mouth nearly turned blue.

Best of all, bf did pedicure with me. Haha, his virgin pedicure. It must have been comfortable. He still find it splurging to spend loads of money on feet. Well, he's not a girl, I doubt he can understand girls anyway. I had no intention to explain to him either.

Home sweet home.

This will be my ever last post on KSL. Because I thought that I had updated sufficient information about KSL mall. I will put a link by the sidebar soon for readers to track back.

Have a nice day.

Regards to Mount Fuji

Regarding Mount Fuji,

Well, I'm not too sure where you will be staying in Tokyo. As for me, I stayed at Shinjuku area while I was in Japan. To get to Mount Fuji, it's not as hard as you thought. Definitely, there's expenses. There is a booth, not really a booth, I would say the size of a shop. It looks like some service centre (m1 or starhub look alike shop). That's where you can purchase your train tickets to Mount Fuji. Definitely, it's rather hard to spot that shop as it was located in the MRT station. Furthermore, the station was really big. I would suggest that you approach the staff, just tell them you want to buy train tickets to Mount Fuji. They will direct you to the shop. Don't worry, they can speak good english especially for those at the information counter. You may wish to make a trip to Hakone as well if you are interested. Good luck.

Cheers,
Pzy

Never regret for a moment

6th November 2011
All life is an experiment.

It's time to check-out from the resort. Almost half day gone since the check-out time was around 12pm. Furthermore the ferry was not in service during our stay. Therefore the only transport was bus. You may refer to Day 1 post to find out ways of transporting back to JB. Basically, you will find your way from the Terminal. As usual, we flagged a cab to the Terminal. The damn driver requested for a better rate due to holiday season. Apparently, he's the only driver during the season. We had no choice but to give him double the rate.

Photobucket

We hit the terminal withn 15 minutes drive. We had our lunch since the next bus was 2 hrs later. Anyway, it's rather dangerous. Look at me, short and fat, yet I still hear wolf whistles which really freaks me out. I'm dead scared I might be robbed anytime. The place was rather quiet, therefore do be alert at all times.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Finally, we boarded the bus. The bus was late for an hr which is ridiculous. All I could do is, accept my fate. The staff ain't gonna be bothered about your complaints. They just gonna tell you that they had no idea about it. Sad to say, it's a fact.

As usual, we stayed at 11th@Century Hotel. We reached KSL rather late, therefore the overnight stay was essential for us so that we could shop to a later timing. During the check-in, the receptionist was terribly slow. I shouldn't blame her as she was in an agony too. She was the only chinese and her superiors are all non-chinese. Apparently, she was new to the environment. She had difficulty performing task on the system. Yet, her colleague refused to offer her help. They even turned nasty on her by giving her incorrect information. I'm sure  you know what's the right word to describe. R _ C _ _T (Woohoo, make a guess)

LUNCH TIME!

I shall let the pictures do the talking then.

The pasta was great. Do try it. It's cheap and good.

Photobucket

You got to try this 51 Soya Bean. I'm sure many of you had tried the famous beancurd at Old Airport Road. This was quite similar from what I've heard. Apparently, they seemed to have good business. Bf tried to order but fail. They always ran out of stock and you got to come back later for more and more.

I then caught sight of this cookie monster cupcakes. I swore to try it. LOL. I hate elmo, but I love cookie monster.

Photobucket

We wanted to watch movie but there wasn't any. So we ended up singing K. I even made myself a membership card as the environment was really good. I'm sure the room, system and drinks were better than our so-called Kbox. Most importantly, it's cheap.
