The Last Christmas

18th December 2011
Unselfish love from a Christmas candle that burns and warm us.

According to the Mayan Calendar, some people believe that Christmas in 2011 would be the last we ever gone through. The cycle stops on the 21st or 23rd of December 2012, Sunday. It was likely and unlikely to happen. We can neither predict nor have a say in it. Scientist racked their brains to find out it it represents the end of the world, or just the end of a cycle to welcome a new beginning. We never know, we can never know. All we could do, stay tune and live our life to the fullest so as not to have regrets.

Vena proposed this gathering and so we went ahead with plannings and all. It was meant to be an early Christmas gathering. Vena always keeps the important dates and days for her darling. Therefore, we brought the date forward. We bought ingredients and stuffs at North Point. Apparently, the weather turned out encountering some short circuit. Rain and sun, on and off. Just when we were about to grab and umbrella, the sun decided to shine brightly upon us. That's when we began to discover our stupidity in vain.

Obviously, none of us were great cooks other than Vena. She did the preparation initially. Unfortunately, the 2 gentlemen ended up completing the entire chores. They cut, they wash, they cook, they clean. Overall, I rate them 4 stars. We had Tom Yum flavour. Till today, I'm still not sure if our cooking method was right. We bought the chicken broth soup, or you can replace it with chicken cubes (if you have), we then dropped 3 cubes of Tom Yum cubes in there. Too simple to believe, so do I. Definitely, it's an unhealthy way of eating. All the MSGs.

We had 2 hrs of makan-ing (eating) session. Absolutely filled to the brim, rubbing tummy unglamourously in sight.

We had round of boring games on Monopoly Deal with a noob. So slow, that I nearly snored away. My attention span became shorter and I got drifted away eventually. Finally, we dropped the games and ended up with craps and loads of horror stories which aint really that horrifying. Probably Mw was the only one who got frightened.

Last but not least, home sweet home.

Shall end here abruptly. Have a nice day ahead.

Cheers,
Pzy
