Korean Cuisine, Mango, Gap, Guess, Everlast, Omu Rice

I went for tuition this morning as usual (every sunday). Alittle sick of it though. Charles improved tremendously while the naught Clarise wrote weird answers in her paper. Anyway, i promise to buy Charles a Nike water bottle if he score well for his exam and i gonna buy him one.

A teacher should never lie to their students.

They prepared me a gift for Teacher's Day as well. They bought me a calculator. It's really nice and sweet of them.

I went to meet Chris in town. We went to Meriden Hotel to tried out a Korean Cuisine at the Kopithiam. His friend introduced that stall to him and mention that it was popular. I can tell it's popular from it's long queue. We waited for 15 minutes before getting out food. The food was in big portion as well.
Pork
Fish

I had phobia in eating fish after seeing Giant Tuna in Bkk and
being choked by fish bones.

Next, we went for high-end shopping =x oops. I went Mango and bought myself a belt. It's was alittle too long and lose, but i've got no choice since it's the smallest size. Btw, i bought a brown one and cost around $30. Hahahaha - my bf paid and i mend my pocket.

Next, i saw undergarments all on sale. It's a real WOW, you should go grab it. Pierre Cardin is on sale. One bra set gonna cost 12 bucks ONLY and i bought 3 sets on the spot, simply just pick and go. It's usually cost $30 or less without discount. My bf gave me money and i bought them on my own.

He got his shirts at GAP and EVERLAST etc as well. He wanted to buy money clip wallet. Srsly, it's not really nice and good. I mean, it doesn't last long and i see no reason for a wallet not to have any coin pouch.

He didn't buy any after being irritated by my whinings.

We went home after having OMU rice for dinner. Home sweet home~

Teochew porridge

Chris was damn nice. He drove to my house and brought me for supper. I wanted to had supper at Bukit Timah Market, but all the stalls were closed.

"It's too late to apologised.... it's too late" ( from a song )

We were just too late for it. I had the urge to had carrot cake and my wish was unfufiled.

So Chris drove me the the food street right opposite Beauty World. It's a long street with many different restaurant. We tried to get something less oily, so we went to the teochew porridge restaurant.

We ordered 4 dishes and only cost $15.
It was so nice that we gobbled up everything and left with a *burp*
Before we went off, i wanted to tried the Jassi durian at the malay restaurant, but chris stopped me. *Sobsob* He said it's good enough to be full and not full to an extent when you wanna puke.

He kept saying that i always force food down my throat when i'm already full. It's rubbish, he really think i'm some bottomless pit. *LOL*

We reached home about 2am or earlier(1/9/08)

I gonna try jassi durian with my friend quietly....

Shh...

Re Ben Cun, choked on fish bone, 1cm

Chris drove me to his house, and we camp there while doing our own stuffs individually. We took a nap before going out for movie.

We went to Re Ben Cun to have our dinner. We ordered so much food that we can't really finished. I wanna talked about something which happened seriously during the dinner and i had not yet made complain to the organisation.

I was having sushi. As you know eel doesn't have bones. It was supposed to be boneless. I was really surprised when i'm choked on bones. I could really feel the pain when swallowing water. I tried to get it out and i couldn't. I thought my throat might be pierced to caused my pain, but it's not. (read on to find out more).
It was during the movie, i kept drinking water to ease the pain.

I cough suddenly and the bones just stick out all of a sudden.
It was the bone which had been choking me all the while.
It's in a "V" shape hooking onto my skin therefore i can't get it out.
It's more than 1cm long. I kept the bone and i had the intention
to made the complain.

It really can cost a life.

Chris returned

My bf came back from KL finally. I went Bkk for 7 days, he went KL for 4 days. We haven been like going on a date for almost 2 weeks. I missed him and i missed the days torturing him even MORE =x oops.

Just kidding...

Do i look like that sort of people?
I doubt so...

He came to visit me after driving his friends home.

Before he went KL, i have been whining about running short. I always wanted to get a good running short. But you should know, a good running short aren't cheap at all. I always saw those SGD 40 but i really don't bear to buy something that expensive.

I'm so happy that my bf bought me a new running short. I was happily looking at my new running short when i saw the price tag. I got wobbly legs all of a sudden.

Guess the price of the running short?
It cost RM 162, around SGD 80.

I almost fainted, and was nagging non-stop. Though i like Adidas, but it's really too expensive. Chris was like explaining to that it was the newest and lightest, and it worth the price. Well, i really like it, but not the price.

Thank You Very Much!!!!! ~

Work, Subway, Weird woman, Naked fish, Big Round

I met Yan at Plaza. I accompany her to work and i brought my laptop along. Editing photos and burning cd for the day. We had subway for lunch - yeah.

During work, Yan met a weird lady. Well, i roughly had an idea about their conversation.

Woman: Will you support me if i join the election to be
one of the presidents

(Yan was puzzled)

Yan: Yes???

Woman: How should i address you?

Yan: Miss Ong

Woman: Xing wang de ah ( in chi, surname ong de ah?)

Woman: Are you related to Ong Ting Chong?

Bla~bla~bla

I can tell that Yan wasn't just puzzled, but shocked as well. I just wanna lol. "HAHAHAHAH"

After work, we went to have dinner together. We had naked fish for dinner.

They don't provide knife and Yan was irritated by the soft spoon and fork.

After finish our crap, Yan lead me the way out. She die die wanna use the original entrance where she came and. She simply irritate me.

We were at B1 at that point of time. She deliberately made
one big round up to L1 and took escalator back to B1.

Isn't she irritating?

Hahahahahahaha ~ (",)

Photos, Movie, Coffee Club

Yan came to my house this afternoon. She came for her photos. The space was simply too big to be send online. If msn really allows the file to survived, it shall be either i'm dreaming of msn go haywire. The total space took up was more than 5GB.

We tried to burn into cds as many as possible. But 1 cd took more than 30 minutes still. So we went for movie instead. Finally, we watched "Money Not Enough". I merely had teary eyes when i turned to Yan, *WAH* tissue was already in her hand. I can even see her face glowing in the dark.

After the movie, we went Coffee Club. This time round, i'm really a lucky girl because the restaurant didn't closed down because of Yan (she gonna kill me for this).

Happenings:
We were all damn full, yet we still shuffed ourselves
with mudpie. We stop eating after a while and we began chatting
with the wall of mudpie suddenly collapsed with a *thud* lol.

After all our craps, we went seperate ways. Home sweet home~

Summary

Bangkok was really awesome. I gonna do a summary about Bangkok and our interesting daily life at there. It was so big that i'm starting to find Singapore boring.

About Bangkok:
1) Safari World
SG Night Safari was nothing compared to their Safari World. It was so big and you are able to experienced wild life nature. It wasn't dark either whereby you gotta sit in a tram with dark surrounding. It was a bus instead where you can see wild life animal near in the day time. You get to see giraffe at their same height. You can see a real whale performance and phototaking with tiger.

2) Dreamworld
It's similar to DisneyLand, just another imitation sort. A nice place for phototaking and consist of places where you read up on storybooks. You get to see a great giant house and had experience in walking through the Ghost Castle where it was damn dark, holding on to you friends tightly. Outdoor theme park activities was included in the single ticket as well.

3) Elephant Village
It was rundown but it really shows you how easy village life can be. You get to feed elephant and sat on their legs. You can have a chance in jungle trekking on elephant. Having photos taken with super huge tiger wagging their tail infront of you.

4) Ocean World
It was cool man. 3 times the size of Underwaterworld. It was build under Paragon shopping centre. You couldn't even complete walking within 2 hours. Magic shows and interesting extinct species or yet to be know. You get to ride on glass boat watching sharks swimming below you. A 4D show provided where you experience real water vapour blowing toward you.

5) Paragon, CentreWorld
High end merchandise. There were both twice the size of Vivo. Even their very own departmental store was bigger than Seiyu or OG. We can't even finish the 1st storey. It's really very big

6) Platinum , MBK
Know to be the most popular shopping places. They give wholesale price when you buy things in bulk. You can easily bought shoes at cheap prices as low as SGD8.

7) Grand Palace
It's a real palace lived by their old king. A nice place to experience as we don't get to see a real palace in singapore. Furthermore, it consist of hundred years history.

The places were pretty awesome.

Our life:
- woke up at 8 almost everyday
- shit together after breakfast together(door to door)
- apply sunscreen everyday
- watched by different kinds of old man daily
- weird people talking to us
- people offer to take pictures for us
- mistook us as Japanese
- people curious about us
- leg tired everyday
- experience shor circuit twice only
- had lots of fast food
- recycle bag filled up totally
- bargaining skills improved
- bump into Singaporeans and RP students
- cab everyday like rich kids

Bkk Day 7 - Indra Regent, Driver, Officer, Complains

Oh no ~ it was the last day of our trip.

I'm totally not enthu about returning back to my home sweet home. Yup, we went for 7 days and i believed that we did not spend any single days blindly. We went to many tourist attractions. Bangkok was much too fun to stop my return.

We woke up for our very last meal ~ oh choy choy choy *piak my mouth 3 times*
We woke up for our very last breakfast in the hotel. We had a sumptuos meal like before. This time round, it was toally different.

We stayed there until the buffet restaurant closed their door. Ooh hoo ~ it's cool right?

It's not cool enough yet!!! There were more definitely. Guess what?

Happenings:
Yan and i stole the butter and jam from the buffet
table. Oops, we were not some kiasu aunts of coz. It's just that their butter
really taste too nice.

Trust me, you should try their butter and jam. The taste was really different lo. Their butter really damn nice. We stole back for our mum of coz. Take and run.

Next, we went back to pack our luggage. We had a hard time packing. Previously, during my stay, they will see us through the CCTV and volunteer to come up on their own. But this time round, it seems like no one was at the CCTV watching. Therefore i made a call to them.

Yan was behind us. Can tell? (see pic above)
The bellboy sent our stuffs down and we went to check out. The person tore up the receipt to show the invalid payment and we went to Indra Regent. We went to change some cash and followed Zy to buy her dress.

Yup, she bought 2 dress and she was grinning happily about the great deal as it was really very cheap.

Next, we went back to Indra Regent. We bought some accessories which were freakingly cheap. It was so much cheaper than Singapore that we can't resist the temptation.

How cheap?
50 cent for a button ear rings
50 cent for a mother of pearl ear rings

Damn cheap?
We bought some accessories for hand. It was of good quality definitely. Singpore price would be usually around SGD 20 plus but Bkk only selling for $10 or less. It's heavenly down there.

*please don't drag me home*

Zy bought her denim shorts and went to try in the toilet. Next we went for massage. 360 baht for 1 hour 45 min. Singapore usually charge according to minute. The usual price - $1 per min. That means, 1hr 45 min would cost me $105. In Bkk, it only cost $18.

Happenings:
Yan and I saw our "dream bag". I shall say straw
bag. We have looking everywhere for the straw bag. We were short of Thai Baht
and we exchange with Zy. Hahahahaha - we were damn desperate at that point of
time that we force Zy to be our money changer. Hahahahaha ~
(",)

Happenings:
We then went to bargain for Zy. The guy was a real
chao ah gua. He refused to give discount in a rude way and i cannot tolerate
him. I even stood behind him and start cursing him in chinese.

Happenings:
I met the woman who did massgage for me previously
and she could still remember me!!!

The massage was so much better than the previous one. It was so much more comfy.

Happenings:
The person hold on to my head
and kept swinging left and right. It was so funny as if i'm on some pills that i
simply can't stop laughing at all. The person wanted to crack me joint, but she
couldn't.

What's worst?
She redo the process for me and it cracked this time round.

Happenings:
I relax the most during the massage. The person
would usually twist your joints to help you more in flexibility. Definitely,
mine was twisted and it was the LOUDEST.

*crack* and they all laugh at
me.

They even serve us with some nice tea after the massage.
After the massage, we went back to pack our luggage. The bellboy was very nice to tie up Zy big ah-chiam bag for her.

We request for cab. You definitely expecting something to happen next right?

We told Boonchu's friend that we will be calling him on the day we return. But we never called him because we find him a pest and it's dangerous to be in his car.

Happenings:
Tio 4D also not to accurate. We really tio his cab.
We were all so shocked to see the accesories hanging on his front mirror and it
was damn familiar to us. We board the cab out of no choice since the bellboy had
already carried everything in for us.

Btw, we did not gave them any tips. Still, they bid a farewell with a happy face.
Boonchu's friend kept driving by looking at his right as usual. OMG - i dislike him.
We reached the Airport finally. Next, we went searching for our terminal and checking in point.

Happenings:
We met those girls in front. I can't say
it's happening, but they just went on staring at us during the queue. They
were all in not very good form but dressed sexily. I guess they mesmerized Yan.
Oops =x
They gossiped about us while we did the same to them as well. Wahahahaha...

After checking in, we went to the boarding station. We went to queue for our passport to be stamp. We forgotten to fill in the application form.

Happenings:
The officer in-charge could have advise us to move to another
side to fill in our form. But he did not. He just ask for another female
officer. The female officer was damn rude. You will be surprised
about what she did to us.

"GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OF THE LINE!"

I really don't see the reason for her -
horrible
terrible
incredible
and totally vegetable attitude

No matter what, we were tourist. How could she be so rude. Yan, Zy and I were freaking pissed off. We simply can't tolerate her anymore. We made up plans to curse them one by one. In the end, there was a change of plan.

Happenings:
I tried to talk to the officer in-charge(actual,
not the female yet). He called for the female officer again. His attitude was
like shit.

Jeanne: I hope that you can treat us tourist with some respect
and i really don't appreciate the attitude you are showing to us.
Female Officer: HUH!
Jeanne: You told us to get out of the line. It's very rude of you.
Yan: At least a please!
Jeanne: Hmph!

Next, we walked off in a very sui manner. Hahahahaha ~ (",)

Happenings:
The female officer face turned black on the
spot.

We forget about the manner very soon and continue our happy life.
We went to have pasta. I love their pasta. I had their Lasagne on the very last Christmas. It was superb yummy and i recommend Yan and Zy to try it out.
We ordered one Mushroom flavour and the Lasagne.

It was so nice and we were damn full.

Happenings:
Before flying, we even went toilet to gek sai together.

We were flying back to Singapore le. Yeahhhhhh - my foot.
I don even had the urge to go home. I turn to Zy and ask her if she had the enthu to be home, she said "ok la". I turned to Yan and ask the same question again, she said "not enthu at all lei".
Yan said Bkk is so much more fun than Singapore. Well said!!! I totally agreed.
The ride was horrible and the jerking kept going non-stop.
On reaching Singapore, we went DFS.
Happenings:
Yan and I bought the same perfume. I thought of
buying th Dior perfume but i bought escada in the end. Dior smell sweet, but my
Chanel smells even better. No point buying the same perfume, therefore i chose
Escada. Stronger smell but more long lasting i guess.

My bf drove Yan home and he continued to be lost in expressway. Shan't say any further. That's all.

Bkk Day 6 - Grand Palace, Sarongs, Platinum, Clothes, AW, Sick

Early in the morning, we cabbed to Grand Palace right after breakfast. It was a very last minute decision as we couldn't really made up our mind of going Grand Palace or not since it's a sacred place. But still, we decided to take a look there. It's all for the sake of knowledge.

On entering the main entrance, we were told to rent sarongs as we were wearing shorts. So we went ahead with it. The fitting room was very crowded and we got a room for ourselves. We were stuck in the fitting room for more than 15 minutes.

Happenings:
It was our very first experience of wearing
sarongs. We seriously don't know how to go about wearing it. The length doesn't
seems to be right, and we can't figure out properly about the tying knots and
stuffs. We really had a hard time wearing the sarongs, helping one another
out.

Yan then decided to wear it high waisted. Well, new vintage style ~ good good.

We were all very paranoid that the sarong may drop anytime. Hahahahaha ~

Happenings:
Zy kept whining about an
ang-moh who kept praising her beautiful. It was scary
though.

It was really a very grand place. They even did renovation to keep the place going. Everyone was forbidden to access to upper storey.

The buidings had been there for over hundred years and it's still well kept till now.

Happenings:
While Zy was taking photo
of us, one of the ang-moh actually face his camera towards us and took a picture
of us. OMG, i really don't know what he was trying to do.

Happenings:
The ang-moh who took our pic
steathily offered to take photos for us as well. One photo exchange with one.
Fair enough.

We even went into their musuem to take a look at their weapons. No pictures as phototaking wasn't allowed in the museum. Their weapons were so much different from our own country. You can even see spears being damaged, which has been through war periods.
A man offered to take pictures for us. He was so kind to take two for us. He was actually holding on to a professional camera, but the result was a soso only. But he still offer to help us. Thanks lot.

I believe you see those little gold colour on the picture behind me(pic above). There weren't simple golden paint. In fact, they were of real gold. These were know as gold thins, which is a very thin layer of gold stick onto the wall.

We took a picture with the so-called soldiers on our right(pics above). He was giggling when were were walking near him.
Happenings:
Yan stood the nearest to him and we just went to
him one by one. I even said sorry and thank you before we went off and he almost
LOL.

He was a guard. He was not supposed to move at all times. I believe we were rather irritating to take his picture. Well, i doubt he mind. He seems happy though.

Next, we set off to chinatown seeking for our BIRD NEST *drools*
Yan wanted to pee urgently. So we went into a building. Totally like the People Park Centre. Even the smell was around the same. As usual, uncles everywhere.

Happenings:
We always called it Shao - mai, we were
rather shocked to see Shao-My. Hahahahaha ~
We ordered the mid quality. Zy was a bit reluctant until she thought of the quality. Well, i die die want to have the better one instead of the lousy ones. If you ganna the the SGD 5 bird nest, i doubt the content will be good enough.
Yi fen qian, Yi fen huo

Happenings:
We actually found a thread in the
jelly-fish. Eews... everyone stop eating suddenly.
Anywa, Chinatown wasn't really very interesting. You can consider giving up the idea of going there. But it's true, there were cheap bird nest stalls. They look rather rundown, therefore do picked a restaurant instead.
Next, we went platinum mall to shop again. This time round, Yan and I bought the most number of clothings. We were so hyper except Zy. She seems to be living in her own world wandering to somewhere else. Hahaha, she look a bit blur blur.
We went A&W next.

I ordered a deluxe burger(beef) while Zy and Yan order the chicken ones.
The waffle so nicer than the Gelare's.
It has been a very long time since i had A&W. My last try was at Ten Mile Junction during my secondary school days. It's a really pity to see it missing from Singapore.
Yan wasn't feeling very well. Her eyes were teary. So we cabbed back to our hotel to let her rest. If she gonna walked back, i guess someone will have to piggyride her back to hotel then.
Both Yan and I popped paracetamol before we went to sleep.
