Sounds pretty bad

Life's been pretty bad for me recently.

My photocopier was down and the printer's ink dried up. My days were absolutely miserable. I had difficulty in producing paper materials. I'm so stressed. No paper materials means no business.

I called the repairman for servicing. It took him 2 days before he finally came to my place. Well, he got too many businesses I guess. I got nothing except a terrible news from him. The cable of the scanner snapped.

Oh mama-mia!

How did it got snapped in the first place?

It just broke and he couldn't save the music as well.

He then recommended me to change the entire scanner which I had no idea how much it gonna cost. Anyway, I wouldn't want to buy a brand new one. A brand new one gonna cost 8 to 9K. It's seriously crazy. I rather spend just a few hundred bucks to repair.

Cross your finger and pray for me yea.

Have a nice day.

Day 10 in Korea, Seoul (Part 1)

9th December 2011

Finally, it's time to update for my Korea Trip. I'm so sorry for the late updates as I had been busy recently. There were tons to do. I got to work and play at the same time. I guess everything gonna be fine once I managed my time well.

Our next destination:

Seoul Zoo

It's located at a quiet corner of Seoul actually. Oh, perhaps "Rural Area" is the best word for it. It's quite a distance from where I stayed (Dongdaemun). Oh dear, I nearly forgotten how to spell the name of certain places. No worries, I wrote short journal during my stay in Seoul. Therefore every details were intact, safe and sound.

Honestly, it was kind of weird to go Zoo during winter.

I mean...

Would there be any animals?

Even if there is/was...

Shouldn't all of them be hibernating?

Anyway, bf chose the place. I'll just close one eye then.

Photobucket

It's freezing cold out there. Snow in sight everywhere upon exiting the Subway Stn. In fact, I'm already freezing cold when I got out of the train. I expected it to be cold, but not to such extend. It's almost 0 degree celsius in the tunnel. My hand was trembling and soon it FROZE.

Haha, not ice cube yet. I'm just exagerrating to let you know how I feel actually.

But still...

It's really freezing cold.

My fingers were totally numb. I even dropped my tag (so-called Ez-link card) numerous time as I lost my sense of touch. There were times, I put my hand into my pocket and I could hardly feel the tag in it. I even panic upon the thought of losing it.

I had no choice but to wear gloves.

Btw, there's a Ski Resort nearby. You might consider going for a ski if you are there.

Photobucket

I'm absolutely SILLY and FOOLISH.

I knew the weather was going to be cold. I guess I'm just trying to be a hero. The temperature was tolerable when I'm in Dongdaemun the previous night. I seriously didn't expect Seoul Zoo area to be so cold.

Being a hero...

I wore neither stockings nor leggings.

Put your hands in the air...

Cheer me on.

No lah, I'm just kidding of course.

Ok, I guess it's not a good time to joke about such thing. I'm just trying to console myself for doing silly things at the wrong time. C'mon, give me a pat on my shoulder.

It's not really helping much.

Haha.

Oh, we had KFC for brunch. I was so cold that I forgotten all about pictures.

Why I love KFC in Korea?

1st
Hygiene

They provided wet tissues instead of just normal kitchen paper.

2nd
Freshness

They use only fresh oil. Unlike SG, they tend to reuse the oil again and again till the fried chicken look dull in colour.

3rd
Quality

The fried chicken was tender.

I guess, I had summarized it clearly.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Upon exiting the station, you gonna have 2 modes of transport to Seoul Zoo.

1) Sky lift
2) Walk

As for me, I decided to choose Sky Lift. Ok, I'm lazy and I admitted it honestly. I rather pay 10 bucks than to walk a mile. Furthermore, it's so cold.

Remember?
I'm not wearing any stockings or legging.

Photobucket
The sky lifts were moving crazily fast.

We got to standby at a spot and wait for the seat to reach our butts.

Off we go...

Photobucket

Photobucket

My feet became one size smaller.

Base on my analysis, it's probably due to contraction.

Y'know, things contract as temperature decreases.

The pair of shoes was supposed to fit my feet properly, and it's about to fall off any moment when I'm on the Sky Lift. Pathetic me was trying hard to balance it well.

Why am I so problematic?

Haha.

What a hassle I am!

We were just in time for Dolphin Show.

I stole some time to get a pair of stockings before rushing for the animal show. I'm so glad that I found it at one of the convenient store. Amazing, it cost only 2 bucks (SGD). It's cheeaaaap.

As expected, it's of poor quality.

Heck care, I'm freezing cold.

Do you think I care about brands and quality now?

Haha.

Let the show begin...

Photobucket

Do you find the stage scene familiar?

I'm not sure if I'm right, do correct me if I'm wrong.

Have you watched the Korea drama named 红豆女之恋?

It's also knowned as My Love Patzzi.

The scene looked really similar to the one in the show where they performed animal show too.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Oh, forgotten to mention about it.

This is not a free show. But still... It's cheap.

2 bucks only.

Photobucket

BIG BIG HOODIE, just like umbrella.

Photobucket
Alright, I didn't take many photos of animals.

I doubt you like to see my post flooded with only ANIMALS when it's available in Singapore Zoological Garden.

Photobucket

Photobucket
They have a corner for the newly born animals.

That's where they would nurture the animal till they are grown ups.

They are amazingly CUTE!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Baby leopard.

It's supposed to be fierce and ferocious. But it's just a baby.

Absolutely cute like a kitty.

Look at the way it licked its paw and drinked milk from bottle.

Awwwww, so sweet.

Photobucket

Photobucket

What's that animal in the below picture?

Imma so curious.

It has Mickey Mouse's ears.

Haha.

Photobucket

We bought HOT COFFEE.

Oh, it's not meant for drinking but holding.

We were still cold despite wearing gloves.

Shiver

Photobucket

Finally, I get to see yellow tiger.

I did not manage to see it when I'm in Singapore Zoological garden.

Photobucket

Bf was so retared to roar at the tiger cubs. In the end, the mummy tiger came over to protect its cub and roar at bf.

Aww, poor bf must be frightened.

Photobucket

Fiddle bus in the Zoo.

I'm so amazed that the uncle speak good english.

He even translate his introduction to English upon knowing we were english speaking.

So nice and kind of him.

Photobucket
I have come to the end of Part 1.

Stay tuned for Part 2.

It should be coming up soon.

Have a nice day.

Cheers,
Jeanne

A splendid day

It was a tiring day as I had never ending classes. Instead for transferring from buses to buses, I decided to cab to Teng's place. I really love cabbing around despite knowing the fact that it's gonna incur a great cost. In fact, I regretted doing so every night. I do stack up my pillows and began to reflect on why am I such an inconsiderate spender.

Oh, to be honest, I hated cabs at times.

Have you ever encountered cockroaches roaming around at the back seats?

Ohh - la - la

I did.

Most of them were baby cockroaches.

*Goosebumps surfacing once again*

It turned me off totally.

Let me share with you about my experience.

I was sitting at the back seat. It was rather late at night and I hardly see things around me. Oh, I have night blindness (rather serious at times). I was playing around with my phone when I sense something crawling up my leg.

I thought I'm just being sensitive.

No... no...

I was so RIGHT about it.

It's a baby cockroach on my leg.

I had no tissue and my body was telling me to get it off my leg IMMEDIATELY.

Being disgusted, I used my bare hand and flicked it off my leg. Unfortunately, it flew to the window screen (whatever you called that). Ok, seemed like I'm making up stories as it sounded so happening.

Eh, eh, it's a truthful event, I promise.

The driver was shock to see it being flicked over onto his screen.

That irresponsible driver startled for a while and pretend to be unaffected (pretend not seeing anything).

PUFF PUFF!!!

Imma so red with anger.

Ever since then, I had this phobia of taking TIBS taxi. I would try my very best to avoid it.

Haha.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Time for baby's pictures.

Jiajia was so cute. Upon my arrival, she began to search my bag like a custom officer. She would take out every single item as if I'm some suspicious people out there.

She would grab my phone and camera and exploring the functions. She would start dancing around and made me her sofa. She simply sat on my thigh like it's some sofa.

Mmmm, regrets. I should have charge her at a rate of $1/per minute.

Photobucket

I'm not a saddist to place the shades on her. She took it from me and wore it happily like a lark.

Soooo cute.

Photobucket

I taught her how to take self shots. Apparently, she knew alittle and she was able to focus on the lens.

Clever girl.

*Hugs*

Photobucket

Went town with bf and bf's friends.

We watched "I am Number 4". Ok, it's quite nice and I rated it 4/5*.

Watched it.

Have a spendid day.

Cheers,
Jeanne

Cheery red cherries

20th February 2011

It's been quite a long time since we met. No choice, we were all grown ups, busy with our own life. I'm really glad that everyone has been doing fine. As usual, we went for dinner at Swensen. Renhui and his girlfriend were present too.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Basically, we got seperated into 2 cliques. Haha, the ambience turned out to be so weird that Teng and I began to Whatsapp one another. Poor Qian has neither Blackberry nor Iphone, she began to emo with her mushroom soup.

Love Blackberry.

Resolved my boredom TOTALLY.

Photobucket

Anyway, the dinner ended real fast. We went to Teng's place after dinner since there was not much shopping to do. We began to entertain Jia Jia in the end.

She was so lovely.

Siau Shian claimed to be her best playmate, which turned out different vice versa in the end. Jia Jia turned out to be more interested in my i-touch and camera. She even know how to pose infront of camera.

I took some random photos.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Me and Jia jia.

Photobucket

Poor Jia Jia, her hair was in a great mess. No one combed it properly for her. Haha.

Photobucket

She no longer had interest in her mum's iphone. She was holding on tight to my camera. Poor me, being paranoid that she might drop the camera. I had no choice but to follow her around with the strap.

She took only photos of thighs and legs.

Weird...

Photobucket

That's about it.

Hope you like Jia Jia's photos.

Isn't she cute?

Cheers,
Jeanne

Sick in mind

I'm very furious at the very moment, NOW.

I'm so gonna rant here whether people like it or not.

What is the purpose of GREETING to you?

It's a form of respect and politeness to people around you. In fact, no matter how much I dislike a person, I would always say "hi". I always thought that there's no need to show everything on the surface to a certain extend.

But this time round...

I JUST CAN'T DO IT.

I can't force myself to greet someone who...

Dislike me.
Accused me of things I had not done.
Stab me right on the back.
Harming me for years (Y'know??? YEARS?)
Look down on me.
Never ending humiliation.
Mentally torture me.

I'M SORRY!

I just can't do it and FUCK DAMN YOU.

Such people does not deserve my respect.

NOT EVEN THE LEAST *Spits saliva*.

Go ahead and stalk my blog all you want. Keep googling it then. You are just so sick in mind.

Hmph,
Jeanne

Saporo Ramen

19th February 2011

What a fine day!

Oh poor me, had no celebration for Valentine's Day. Cries. Bf bought GIVE ME NO SURPRISE (Purposely write big big). I never really like festive seasons. Ok, maybe I'm weird. I'm forever lazy to queue up for dinner and movies. During festive season, you can easily queue up to 50 minutes without getting a seat still. Anyway, this post is not about Valentine's Day.

Photobucket

Bf brought me to PS for Saporo Ramen.

It's located beside Ajisen. Well, Saporo Ramen taste good too. You gonna try it. I had the white miso while bf had spicy miso. Drools.

Alright, I shall end here.

Good night ppl, have a nice day.

Jeanne
