Japan, Official Day 7

1st September 2009

It's my 7th day in Japan. Just like what i've mentioned last night, I going to comb Disneyland today. *winks* The first thing I did in the morning was to check it out with the receptionist regarding the weather.

Typhoon had been visiting us for days, still it doesn't affect us lot.Since it's Disneyland, I got to be really careful with the weather. I'm really glad when I was told that it's going to be sunny.

At this point of time, I'm wearing a blazer, oh you see blazer.

Get it? Get it? Get it? Still don't? Read on and you will get it.

If you still don't, tsk, you should do some self reflection then. No la, just kidding. I believe you guys will pity me, and you better be.

Photobucket

I believe Christopher is soon turning into a typical Yoshinoya's fans. Every now and then, he will say "Please, can I eat Yoshinoya?".

Why add a "please" at the front?

Just to please me.

Because he simply irritated me with Yoshinoya. Look at the previous post, he had been eating Yoshinoya Beef Bowl always and he just doesn't get sick of it. He's not, but I am. My patience has reached it's max limit.

Anyway, he's used to paying a price for what he requested as always. As usual, he took a beef bowl. I tried another chicken dice with egg bowl at Yoshinoya. Hohoho, it's something our local Yoshinoya is not selling.

I won't say it's yummy, but just try it for the sake of not having it in our little country.

Photobucket

Next, we trained to Maihama from Shinjuku Station.

Photobucket

Before reaching Maihama station, Chris brought me some Aspirin from this particular drug store above. I think I've been playing wild for the past few days. My ear wax simply stock up and I accidentally gush water into my ear drum. It causes me real pain that I keep tossing and turning in the night.

Anyway, I took 2 Aspirin and it's really effective. I'm could only feel 10% of the pain. Alright, let's continue the fun then.

Photobucket

On our way to Maihama.

Photobucket

Finally, I reached the station.I just found out Hello Kitty has got their own vending machine days ago. Disney got their own one too. That's so cool.Ps lah, I've been buried in the well with Laiyan for too long. (Inside joke)

Photobucket

That's the exit of Maihama stataion.

Photobucket

Upon walking to the entrance, you might be blur of the directions. This is because the Disneyland and Disneysea aren't right infront of the station. You gotta walked a distance before getting to your right destination. For DisneySea, it's at your left. For Disneyland, it shall be at your right.

Hohoho, right shall be where i'm going to.

Photobucket

At the entrance.

Photobucket

Below shows a gift shop. Mmmm, can't really remember the exact names but it's filled with lots of cookies, cute pens, vintage key chains and many more.

Photobucket

I really love Disneyland. Every single thing makes me feel magical.

Photobucket

That's me in the gift shop from above picture.

Photobucket

Now, it's Halloween Season. Eerie, eerie, eerie......

Hahahaha, sorry about being lame. *Shivers*

Photobucket

That's the main entrance.

Photobucket

That's the shop selling all the funky hair bands and head bands. Anyway, I don't encourage anyone of you buying from the entrance stall. They have limited designs. If you wanna get one like what i'm wearing(you will see as you scroll), you can get it from the souvernir shop inside Disneyland. Slightly expensive but chio.

Photobucket

Mmmm in my own opinion, the tickets aren't cheap. The price for individual can cost you up to $70 per pax. Furthermore, that doesn't include any food and beverages. No, no, not even a Minnie hairband. Everything is costly in Disneyland. Absolutely agree.

Think thrice and spend wise shall be my best advise for the day.

No matter what, it's still going to a magical day down there.

Photobucket

A million thanks to the photographer who took this shot for us.

Photobucket

Upon arrival, we caught sight of Winnie the Pooh photo-taking session and off we ran for the queue. Previously, I've been to HK Disneyland and had never experience such overwhelming crowd of queue. We are considered lucky to queue just for 30 min for the Pooh Bear. You gonna hear my dreadful story later on.

Photobucket

Anyway, you need not worry about the quality of your picture. Japanese are very nice and friendly, they will let you have a check before you went off. If you are not satisfied with the photo quality, they will definitely offer to take another for you.

As for their personal photographer and photo-taking package will cost you about 1000 yen. I should say "It's really not cheap", approx 20 over bucks. Still, we took one of the package. It's definitely all up to you.

Photobucket

Seven dwarfs on the run.

Photobucket

It's finally our turn. Our turn... Our turn... Our turn...

Photobucket

It's a super huge Pooh Bear and I gonna frame it up in my room. *Giggles*That's not the best part, because I dote Mickey even more.

Photobucket

Aha, early in the post I remember I did mention about "blazer" issue. It's seriously pathetic and I think you guys should pity me. Perhaps I'm a little over-jinxed at the wrong time.

Typhoon had been visiting us for the past few days. It's seriously cold and I'm always trembling in cold.Worrying that it's going to be another cold day, I wore my blazer and it turned out to be sunny hot day.

We actually went for Mickey Mouse Photo-taking session and the queue was really long. I was perspiring like mad and nearly fainted. I just sat on the pavement caring less about my image. It's damn hot and warm la. Worst than summer ok?

Melting...

Photobucket

Never believe what you see, because your eyes may not tell the truth. His back was 90% wet. I always believe numbers tell a better truth.

Photobucket

Look at the queue.I was in the mid of the queue. Just imagine there's another stretch of queue behind me, it's scary though. Anyway, this wasn't the only reason explaining to the ultra long waiting time.

Each time the Mickey took a picture with a family of a couple, he would gave them a hug or hop around dancing with them.Yup, I hug it too and it's a damn expensive and warm hug. Overall, it's worth it as I had never hug such a big Mickey. Christopher enjoyed being disturbed by Mickey anyway. Cute and funny.

Photobucket

It wasn't the same Mickey all the time. The sun was scorching hot and Mickey have different shifting. Below was a Mickey on run, fear of the sun. Haha.

Photobucket

Above picture shows me and Peter Pan. Amazing, he's an ang-moh. I thought he might be a Japanese. Anyway, most of the other characters are usually ang-moh. Don't worry, they speak english.

Below was the Cinderalla and her Prince Charming. I always knew that all the popstars got fans, only till then I realised that these characters had got fans too. I saw a middle-aged man holding on to photos of this Cinderally(below) asking her for autographs.

He even told Cinderalla that he had been following her from USA till Japan just to see her and ask for autographs. At that point of time, I was really amazed. Anyway, this Cinderalla was really pretty.

Photobucket

In Japan, they will oftenly held contest and interactive activities for the day. For today, they actually had some Cinderella wannabe contest. Little kids will be wearing the fanciful dress to attend the contest. It's so cool. Gigantic VS Tiny Cinderella.

Photobucket

Photobucket

That's Alice from "Alice in the Wonderland". So cute isn't she? She will pose upon request for photo-taking

Photobucket

We were seriously tired after the photo-taking session and the super long Mickey Mouse queue. Hohoho, here we go in search of yummies. Although I just had my lunch at Yoshinoya, it's never been enough.

Throughout my days in Japan, my tummy had been stretching outward and my appetite improves tremendously. Sounds scary but a real fact. I can simple gobble a katsu curry rice with Udon down my throat easily.

Photobucket

At the Tavern.

Photobucket

Below shall be where we decided to get our munchies. Nothing is cheap and this set simply cost around 1300 yen if i remember correctly. Anyway, you should try their sausage when you are in Japan.

They tasted differently compared to our local ones. Our usual ones are soft but theirs are crunchy on the surface. You can hear the sound of bite upon chewing down. Hoho- drools.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Hmmm, that's me below chewing on my food which explain the weird shape of my mouth. Haha.

Photobucket

Walking towards the castle.

Photobucket

Photobucket

This is the castle.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We paid 1000 yen for the photo-taking package with this castle. Oh, this is because we took photos with all characters when we were in Hong Kong except the castle. We meant to buy the photo buy it was left out till we return back to the hotel.

That's just one of the reason. The main reason is "I like", hahaha, you got any problem? No la, I'm just kidding. There's no reason for such a thing.

All you have to do is, pay for what you like. That's life.

Nothing is free in this world.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we went to the Glass Museum/Shop. You can purchase souvenirs of your likings. Since it's man-made, it's definitely not cheap. I feel happy enough to watch the making process. Look at the uncle in the picture below, he's trying to make a Mickey Mouse out of it.

Photobucket

That's me and Christopher in the shop.

Photobucket

Did you see the crytstal-like castle beside Chris(above)? It's blown by that uncle above(I've shown previously). It's really magical to me. A small little fine tube can be turned into such classic souvenirs. The price is definitely not cheap since it's man-made.

Probably a thousand?

Not YEN but SGD?

Photobucket

Castle-like buildings

Photobucket

Japanese Girls are all wearing Minnie head bands or Shrek ears around. These accessories really tempted me alot. Even though I knew I be wearing it just once, I still want it. It's not cheap, one can cost up to 20 over bucks unless you get the plastic one.

Hmph, I don't want plastic one la. Abit budget.

Photobucket

See, even the guys are wearing.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Despite being expensive, Christopher bought one for me. Nono, not the budget one so no worries. He got me the Fury Minnie hairband. It cost about 30 bucks(SGD). Sound siao?

After that, he's been calling me "Mouse" for the whole day. Irritated but satisfied with my new hairband. Christopher rather get one for me than to watch me envying the others. Lol.

It's worth being a mouse for the whole day.Majority of the girls are wearing it around too.

Photobucket

Next, we went for the Snow White Adventurous Story. They will show you interactive images which convey the story to you again.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I believe everyone knows that Snow White took the poisonous apple because of a wicked witch.Disneyland chose to made it into some horror story at the beginning of the journey which made children cries. Hahaha, I was shocked to see children in tears.

Photobucket

Did you see the horrifying tree trunk?

It doesn't stay put but moves around. Eerie..

Photobucket

After Snow White Adventurous, we went for Peter Pan's Flight. You might thought it's just a short queue, but you are wrong for sure. We queue up for 30 minutes at every individual rides. The queue looks like a snake totally.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The flight looks like some choo-choo train like ride. In fact, you are flying in the mid air when you are inside. I'll show you later on.

Photobucket

Above picture was taken from a top view in flight.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Didn't I just mention in the mid-air?

Refer to picture above and you shall see.

Photobucket

While waiting for the parade to begin, we got ourselves ice-cream. No one can ever resist ice-cream temptation. Woohoo, we go a Mickey Mouse ice-cream which cost about 500 yen. Hmmm, not really cheap but I like coz it's cute. It taste like some mango-like ice-cubes. Oh, drools.

They have different flavours, take your pick then.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Here goes the parade. Enjoy scrolling.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

This parade was sponsored by Docomo.

Photobucket

Next, we went for Musical horse. It's not those small ones but big ones.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Below is a museum displaying "It's a small world". I believe you guys sang the song when you were young. In the museum, they will show little man's culture. Hmm, I did not take a lot of photos in there since it's strictly prohibited.

Photobucket

It's a river-like trip on a boat into the museum. The boats shown in the picture below will bring us into the museum. Anyway, it's not really a short journey. Approx 10 minutes or more.

Photobucket

This is the very cute little toy that we came across.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Behind us (picture above) is Mickey Mouse House.

Photobucket

I shall not explain further, see picture for more.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Above picture was taken in a tree house.

Photobucket

Christopher went to the washroom, while I roam around on my own. Look at the Goofy below. Oh dear, he's super tall.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we went to Minnie Mouse's House. We queued up for about 40 minute or more just to have a look. Hmm, most of the furniture were ultra big. Look at the sofa below and you will see why I say so.

Photobucket

That's Christopher on Minnie's bed. Oh dear, Mickey Mouse will be jealous. "Don't anyhow sit"

Haha..

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's time for munchies again. We got ourselves a pizza cone.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we decided to go for some educational show.

Photobucket

Upon entry, Chris ask for english translation. Just in case you guys did not enquire about it, there's english translation. But you will have to take the 2nd last row seating. They have 2 choices of english and chinese for you to choose.

Photobucket

That's the 3D specs.

After roaming around for awhile, we decided to follow the Japanese culture. Although we bring no mat along, but still we decided to have a night picnic.

Photobucket

We got the best seatings while Christopher went to buy me some food for picnic session. It's not uncommon over here since everyone's doing the same thing.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Below is the food for our picnic session. Looks familiar?

True true, same as the afternoon one. That's because there's nothing much left since everyone is combing the food. It's just a weekday (Monday blue somemore) and Disneyland is crowded as ever. I seriously can't imagine how it would look like during the weekend.

Photobucket

This entire electrical parade was sponsor by Docomo as well. I believe everyone watch "zhuang yi da you xing" yearly in Singapore. But this electrical parade was really stunning. Look at the number of lights on each item. It's really shining and shimmering.

I shall keep my words short.

Photobucket

Above is the Choo-choo train

Photobucket

That's the cat in Alice in the Wonderland.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

7 dwarfs

Photobucket

Winnie the pooh, Tiger, Eeyore and Piglet

The Ugly Duckling

Photobucket

Donald Duck

The electrical parade was great and I enjoyed everything about it. The next place we procceed to was the castle. We chose the best spot and waited for the fireworks to begin. You can view videos for more as i won't be elaborating.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Isn't the fireworks beautiful?

Photobucket

Photobucket

I feel that the fireworks was really enchantic but not comparable with HongKong ones. Although HK Disneyland was alot smaller, but their fireworks was perfect totally. This was good, but not as enchantic as before.

Anyway, it's really beautiful.

Next, we went shopping at the souvenir shops and I got myself a top at SGD50 plus. It's not cheap but it's something i had always wanted to get out of Disney for memory purposes. Hahaha, it reminds me been to Japan Disneyland.

Till now, I still can't believe the fact that I've been there. It's really hard for me to accept the truth. A poor girl like me actually get to go Japan. Oh dear, I should thank god.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Thanks to the Japanese couple who took this photo(above) for us.

Disneyland is closing and it's time we set off back to Shinjuku before we missed the last train.

Photobucket

Photobucket

If I get to go Japan another time, I swear I stay in the Disney Resort. Muahahaha... *hint*

Photobucket

Photobucket

Now then I realised I'm born in the same month as Mickey. Woohoo.

Photobucket

Christopher with the Mickey Clock

Photobucket

Next we trained back and search for dinner. Our dinner was rather sumptuos. We had ramen, fried rice, chicken chunk and gioza. Mama-mia.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We actually finished all the food. I guess we walked too much and simply digest what ever we had in the day. I really had an enjoyable day. I enjoyed the enchantic feeling and to be showered with everything I like.

A million thanks to Christopher, my saviour and sponsorer. Haha. It's a great day.

Guys, turn in early alright?
