Poorest moment

I'm very grateful to Ah Tard for asking me out during my poorest time of my whole life. You guys must be curious about my bankruptcy level. It's very serious this time round and I had never recover since my trip from Japan.

Even though the trip was sponsored, but I'm still broke after that. I guess I'm already broke before my trip to Japan. LOL. I did something which I find myself "amazing".

Despite being broke, I still went Kbox with Yan. Aiya, that girl had serious craving and I had to compromise alittle. See picture for more.

Photobucket

As usual, Kbox food sucks the most. This time round, its our worst meal in Kbox ever. Oh my goodness, the scary mama lemon taste still linger when I'm blogging. It taste horrifying and we felt as though we were eating soap.

The only thing which was edible was the package pudding. The freshest among the rest. I think Kbox really need to do some reflection. I guess, sooner or later there will be cases of food poisoning. Just someday!!!

Photobucket

Like our favourite pastimes, never ending camwhoring.

Next, we tried this Yoghurt ice-cream that Yan introduce. Alright, not to bad. Try it out.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we caught Phobia.

It wasn't scary at all. Yan and I still attempt to cover our eyes, see no evil. The ending turns out to be a real funny comedy. It wasn't a bad movie. Just wasn't that scary as we had thought. The previous version was much more scarier.

Next, we had dinner at Far East; we had the claypot mee again. It was what we eat usually when we were broke. Anyway, it was a nice meal. Had a walk around ION and back to Far East for dessert.

Photobucket

As usual, Ah Lians just kept giving us stares and we were totally immune toward it. We used to ponder about the reasons behind it. Now, we just heck care about it.

Alright, home sweet home. Nights everybody.

Working hours

This was my second last day at work, and I guess I'm going to miss Peiqing's company for lunch hours and all sort of lame jokes.

Winter theme...

Poor me, had been working non-stop. I seriously had no chance to take a break when I don't even get enough rest. Anyway, Yan came all the way to Paya Lebar just to had lunch with me. She even camp around Bugis area forcing herself to shop just to pass time.

I was amazed upon hearing her entertaining herself with her DS by a fountain. Well, that's something she won't be doing for her "image" sake. Anyway, she has not image =x oops. Pray hard she won't scroll back to my old post.

We had no dinner but dessert. We went for Anderson Ice-cream. Usually after meal, we can't finish our dessert. Since the fondue was in such big portion, we decided to have that first. It's chocolate - drools.

Photobucket

We started entertaining ourselves with the specs again.

Photobucket

As usual, the waiter keep looking at us for no reason. Heck care. He should mind his own business. Tsk tsk.

Nerd alike.

Photobucket

Upon catching up our old times, we started on travelling topics. Next we decided to try out our new theme "Winter Wear". We began to grab big coats in Mango follow by Zara. Oh dear, it's really fun.

Photobucket

Next, we went Muji and had lots of entertainment over there.

Photobucket

Haha, we wanted to get the milk tea but the title was a little contradicting. They actually wrote PETs milk tea. We aren't any dogs dogs or kitty kitty. Not really sure about our interpretation.

Photobucket

I was browsing about when I saw the hat (above picture - right) Yan was wearing. It reminds me of cancerous hat. Okok, I mean no harm in joking about that, but that often appears in drama series.

Photobucket

I was about to take a bus home when I realised the bus services was terminated due to the F1 race. I quicky called Yan to join her. It was then I realised Yan had been making one big loop to the MRT station. No wonder, she always complained about the long distance when it's very short. LOL.

Home sweet home. Nights everybody.

Short catch up

My holiday had been wasted totally. I had been working and slogging real hard leading my tedious life. As for Yan, her life is totally the opposite of mine. She had been slacking home shaking legs for the past few weeks. It's such a serious extend that she has become a 宅女.

She was so free that she came all the way from her house to MSQ just to meet me.

Photobucket

Oh yeah, our outing theme was very different for the day. I'm the Office Lady (OL) while she's the 宅女. Hush hush... She gotta kill me after reading this =x

Photobucket

She bought a gig specs and we ended up camwhoring with it.

Photobucket

As usual, we got cheated by restaurant. We thought the seafood lasagne might taste yummy and it turns out to be the other way round.

Photobucket

Nothing much for the day. As usual, we shopped after dinner and ended up at PS very next.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We went for bites and high tea at Secret Recipe.

Photobucket

Silly us were just like some old woman, ended up chatting at Dolby Ghaut Exchange. There were so much for us to catch up. Therefore we ended up camping outside a mini-restaurant which had closed. Short catch up, yet excited. It's all about travellings ~ woo hoo.

Home sweet home.

Tomorrow...

Christopher will start serving NS from tomorrow onwards. Somehow I'm a little worried because he is really fussy about food. As you know, Tekong will probabaly not serve you Manhattan fish or Crystal Jade. I'll cross my finger and wish him the best.

He shall decide his future whether to strive forward or lead an enjoyable life in there. I gave him my best wishes.

Photobucket

Hope he will stay safe and sound in the camp =)

Post Japan Syndrome

We just came back from Japan and were suffereing from Post Japan Syndrome. It can be quite serious actually as nothing seems to resolve our craves at the moment. I doubt any of the local Japanese food taste as good as their authentic ones.

Anyway, Chris treated me to Sakae and I see no reason why I should reject. Alright, I shall end here and let the pictures tell you more about our meal.

Japan Tokyo 25 - 3rd Aug/Sep 09

Photobucket Japan

Christopher and I previously planned to go Korea until the trip was cancelled. He was rich and I'm not. I seriously thought I wasn't able to make my way back. Overall, the things are still within our affordability and he sponsored quite a lot on my food and shopping. If not for him, I doubt I'll ever have the chance to be in Japan and fly in A380 the biggest airbus.

Everything in Japan amazed me, their technologies, machinery, transport and their food. I love their Disneyland the most and felt enchantic upon my visit. Their dessert was so yummy till the taste still linger around in my mouth.

Japan, I'll be back.

Japan, Official Day 9

3rd September 2009

Thanks to Narita Airport, we camp overnight at Narita's Macdonald. You must be wondering why didn't we check in to a hotel. The reason is really simple, because there isn't any.

Hahahaha, really jinx.

We spent our night doing out personal stuffs. Christopher played my DS for 3 hours while I edited my photos till i fell asleep. It's really tiring for me and I don't really feel well not being able to shower.

Photobucket

I woke up with the breakfast Christopher bought for me. Drools ~

I felt like a kid out of a sudden, there's someone to serve me when I wanna sleep, eat or drink. Oops, I never hint that he's my maid. No no, never. He's my holy lei, if not i'll never step foot in Japan. I think he will get a heart attack upon reading this.

Photobucket

It's daytime finally and we set off to Narita Airport.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's 6 plus early in the morning and yet the sky was bright. If it's Singapore, it's still dark actually. I also realised something, it's rather cold in Narita as compared to Shinjuku. During the night we travelled from Shinjuku to Narita, I could feel the coldness right into my bone.

*shivers*

Photobucket

We reached the airport finally. I'm super desperate to sleep and shower. Damn desperate and I had never not shower for more than 24 hours before. I'm sort of basic hygiene freak. I need to shower twice a day. The last time i showered was yesterday morning. It's pathetic.

Photobucket

Photobucket

We waited for almost an hour before we could check in.

Photobucket

I was so tired and almost dying of fatigue. I even shown 2 of my ugly photos to yan.

Photo 1: With a whiny look, desperate to shower

Photo 2: Fell asleep

Why didn't i post it?

Cannot la, it will damage my image to the max.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

It's election period which explains why their TVs are playing the same thing repeatingly.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We finally check-in and now it's time to look for shower. Oh yah!! In Narita Airport, they have hotel rooms which charged hourly and shower that cost 800 yen for 30 minutes. For travellers who are desperate like us, no no, i mean me only; you may consider taking a shower there.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Walking to the mini-hotel.

Photobucket

This is the lobby of the mini-hotel.

Definitely, it's not cheap at all. I remember we paid almost 20000 yen for a 2 hr room. There's nothing much and don't expect it to be very good and high class. Overall, it's still good enough since it's provide basic need and care for people. Shower foam and shampoo are provided.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I had a good rest in the room before we set off to catch our plane. This time round, we took the normal deck since Christopher wanna watch the wing of the plane. Lame. Tsk tsk.

Photobucket

Alright, i shan't continue much crap since it's return of the trip. Good bye Japan. I'll miss you much.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Caught Angels & Demon on the plane.

Below is our lunch for the day. Taste alright to me.

Photobucket

We are back to Singapore. Hahahaha, but not happy at all. I rather stay dirty and not shower for 24 hr than to return home. I don't hate my country, just detest only. I believe no travellers from Singapore will ever praise their own country.

Like I say, it's worst than "WORST". It's my own percerption, you don't have to agree with me. =)

Photobucket

Photobucket

We went shopping around since Christopher wanna get something for his family members.

Photobucket

While waiting for Chris's daddy to fetch us back, we had TCC for dinner. Drools ~

Alright, home sweet home.

My conclusions:

Japan rocks to the max.

Travelling can be addictive

My next travelling plans:

Cruise to phuket/Bali/Korea
