Frivolous

Had a quick brunch with Tard after work. As usual, we had Delifrance. It's forever the best place for brunch during weekdays. Well, that's just part of the reason. The main reason, Lot 1 has limited restaurants for us to slack our time off. Y'know limited alternatives can really force us to make a choice.

Our beef lasagne looked aboslutely flat. I'm sure you had tried lasagne and it's supposed to be in layers. I mean, there's a thickness to it. The waiter served our lasagne entirely flat. Tard began to question him and he explained that it's well done. In fact, the picture in the menu display quite a number of layers.

I began to show the waiter some sarcasm.

So... The beef lasagne served is not supposed to look like the beef lasagne in the menu.

The waiter answered "Err, yes."

So... Anything we ordered is not supposed to look like what we see in the menu.

The waiter lowered his head and shut his gap.

Fortunately, we were both in a great mood. Hence, he's completely safe from our sarcasm.

We wanted to go for K session. Unfortunately, Kbox attempt to cheat us ONCE AGAIN. It's not even the lunch package and the staff quote us 24 bucks per person. It's crazily expensive. We'll give it a miss then. Crazily poor this time round. Gotta save up real soon (I'm forever saying the same old line.)

End of brunch and it's time to get back to work.
