Raining prawns

13 November 2009
The heaven decided to make our route more tedious than ever. A sudden heavy pour had become a disaster for us. Both of us discard our good image, oops I doubt we have it in the first place. Anyway, we had created an uber ugly sight throughout our friendship.

It was raining cats and dogs out there, our flip-flops were stained with mud and soil. We decided to wash it with dripping water from shelter area. It was uber unsightly. I was whined by grouchy Yan.

Finally, we got on the LRT platform. Yan then last min told me that she has forgotten to bring her purchase slip. Oh no, nearly killed her.

We had super budget meal which I doubt it's hygiene or yummy. No choice, because that's the only food there. So sad.

We had been wheeling the trolley up and down in search for required ingredients. As you see, NO PURCHASE SLIP really made our life difficult. Anyway, we got almost everything that we need.

During our purchasing process within Sheng Shiong, it wasn't raining. It began to rain at the moment we stepped out of the building. It was like WTH. The heaven still don't appreciate our great effort. It took us quite sometime before we manage to carry everything into the car boot. I was partially drench. Eew, the rain water.

We were supposed to reach PA chalet by 6pm, but we were late. Absolotely LATE. We took damn long to purchase our grocceries. Oh dear, we sounded like some nannies. We overlooked the time and ended up rushing up and down.

Furthermore, the driver was a cheater bug. He made me felt as though he had been aiming to cheat our money right at the beginning. He even encourage us to stop over for enquiries and repeat "No worries, slowly".

Oh yeah, sound friendly, my foot. It wasn't friendly at all. He just enjoyed the thrill and sensation his meter was running. Poor Tard and me paid a full amount of $30 over dollar (for cab fare only)

We even drop off to enquire if we were at the right place right in the rain. No comments. The driver was really inconsiderate. He just dropped our bags right in a pile of water. I even ask Yan about it, we had no clue totally. He shouldn't have done it. It could have made our job more tedious. Hate double job. Arghhh....

Below shall be some pictures of our chalet. I wouldn't say it damn great but worth the price we are paying. Tsk tsk tsk, $138 for 4 nights. I doubt anyone would have complained about it. It includes all necessaties that we need.

I doubt you even need to worry about stove or pans. Everything has been provided to meet our requirements. *Thumbs up*

Poor Ah Tard had become the marinating queen for the day. She will definitely be getting trauma after this incident. She washed and marinated 40 pcs of chicken wing. Salute her absolutely. I would probably faint upon sight of chicken.

I wanna puke. Look at her hands. Eeews.

Photobucket

Finally Ah Tard was done with entertaining her chicken. YEAH!

Wine for the actual night.

Everyone was here finally. Hurray. Ahem.

We had pick them up seperately. Oh, felt like a van now. Pick-up?

Photobucket

It's a Teddies Day.

Our dinner for the day, MacD. Only Kailing, Huayyin, Me and Ah Tard order.

Interesting door signage.

It was made because the door lock was a little faulty.

YES, YES, YES

It's gonna be prawning session. Ah Tard and my virgin prawning session, weird but interesting description. It was raining once again and i'm getting sick of the rain. Took some pictures on the bus.

It was raining so heavily that Kristy got to sent us over to the shelter group by group. Her umbrella was not enough to carry everyone over. During their first trip, they borrowed an umbrella from a malay family. Thanks to them, we had got an ultra huge umbrella.

We reached our destination finally.

It was so cooling at night. Prawns were sleeping.

We got the 4 hours package. We shared by taking 2 hrs each. It was considered rather cheap, only 20 bucks per rod. We were so amazed by it and manage to get some highly skilled prawner (ppl who prawn) to tip us with a little technique and skills.

Li ZhiYan sacrifice for the prawn by standing under the rain. The shelter was fake, leaking non stop on and off. Her efforts were paid off. She got the first prawn and was ultra big.

Photobucket

The highly skilled prawner even helped to remove the hands for us. Thanks much.

Photobucket

After not long, I was swaying my rod toward the right and I felt a pull.

YESH YESH!!! I GOT A PRAWN TOO.

It bit onto Yan and my rod. Hurray.

Upon chatting with the prawner, he offered to give us more prawn. Hoho.
