Raining prawns

13 November 2009
The heaven decided to make our route more tedious than ever. A sudden heavy pour had become a disaster for us. Both of us discard our good image, oops I doubt we have it in the first place. Anyway, we had created an uber ugly sight throughout our friendship.

It was raining cats and dogs out there, our flip-flops were stained with mud and soil. We decided to wash it with dripping water from shelter area. It was uber unsightly. I was whined by grouchy Yan.

Finally, we got on the LRT platform. Yan then last min told me that she has forgotten to bring her purchase slip. Oh no, nearly killed her.

Photobucket

We had super budget meal which I doubt it's hygiene or yummy. No choice, because that's the only food there. So sad.

Photobucket

We had been wheeling the trolley up and down in search for required ingredients. As you see, NO PURCHASE SLIP really made our life difficult. Anyway, we got almost everything that we need.

Photobucket

During our purchasing process within Sheng Shiong, it wasn't raining. It began to rain at the moment we stepped out of the building. It was like WTH. The heaven still don't appreciate our great effort. It took us quite sometime before we manage to carry everything into the car boot. I was partially drench. Eew, the rain water.

Photobucket

We were supposed to reach PA chalet by 6pm, but we were late. Absolotely LATE. We took damn long to purchase our grocceries. Oh dear, we sounded like some nannies. We overlooked the time and ended up rushing up and down.

Furthermore, the driver was a cheater bug. He made me felt as though he had been aiming to cheat our money right at the beginning. He even encourage us to stop over for enquiries and repeat "No worries, slowly".

Oh yeah, sound friendly, my foot. It wasn't friendly at all. He just enjoyed the thrill and sensation his meter was running. Poor Tard and me paid a full amount of $30 over dollar (for cab fare only)

Photobucket

We even drop off to enquire if we were at the right place right in the rain. No comments. The driver was really inconsiderate. He just dropped our bags right in a pile of water. I even ask Yan about it, we had no clue totally. He shouldn't have done it. It could have made our job more tedious. Hate double job. Arghhh....

Photobucket

Below shall be some pictures of our chalet. I wouldn't say it damn great but worth the price we are paying. Tsk tsk tsk, $138 for 4 nights. I doubt anyone would have complained about it. It includes all necessaties that we need.

I doubt you even need to worry about stove or pans. Everything has been provided to meet our requirements. *Thumbs up*

Photobucket

Some barangs barangs.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Poor Ah Tard had become the marinating queen for the day. She will definitely be getting trauma after this incident. She washed and marinated 40 pcs of chicken wing. Salute her absolutely. I would probably faint upon sight of chicken.

I wanna puke. Look at her hands. Eeews.

Photobucket

Finally Ah Tard was done with entertaining her chicken. YEAH!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Wine for the actual night.

Photobucket

Everyone was here finally. Hurray. Ahem.

Photobucket

We had pick them up seperately. Oh, felt like a van now. Pick-up?

Photobucket

It's a Teddies Day.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Our dinner for the day, MacD. Only Kailing, Huayyin, Me and Ah Tard order.

Photobucket

Interesting door signage.

It was made because the door lock was a little faulty.

Photobucket

YES, YES, YES

It's gonna be prawning session. Ah Tard and my virgin prawning session, weird but interesting description. It was raining once again and i'm getting sick of the rain. Took some pictures on the bus.

It was raining so heavily that Kristy got to sent us over to the shelter group by group. Her umbrella was not enough to carry everyone over. During their first trip, they borrowed an umbrella from a malay family. Thanks to them, we had got an ultra huge umbrella.

We reached our destination finally.

Photobucket

It was so cooling at night. Prawns were sleeping.

Photobucket

We got the 4 hours package. We shared by taking 2 hrs each. It was considered rather cheap, only 20 bucks per rod. We were so amazed by it and manage to get some highly skilled prawner (ppl who prawn) to tip us with a little technique and skills.

Photobucket

Li ZhiYan sacrifice for the prawn by standing under the rain. The shelter was fake, leaking non stop on and off. Her efforts were paid off. She got the first prawn and was ultra big.

Photobucket

The highly skilled prawner even helped to remove the hands for us. Thanks much.

Photobucket

After not long, I was swaying my rod toward the right and I felt a pull.

YESH YESH!!! I GOT A PRAWN TOO.

It bit onto Yan and my rod. Hurray.

Upon chatting with the prawner, he offered to give us more prawn. Hoho.

Poor Shiqi and Kristy got no prawns. Anyway, that is how we end our day. Smile and nights.

Love Graphics...

It's cake making session for the day. We had made plans to decorate our cake at Jurong Point. On our way to JP, I had been brainstorming for the best graphic effects. Oh yeah, it turns out to be a great success. See more for details.

Photobucket

We had Teppanyaki for dinner. It was rather awkward for us to sit in such position, side by side. The formation was horrid and the waiter even attempt to put on napkin for me. Oh my, i'm not a baby. LOL.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we went for our cake making session. Here comes our creativity.

Photobucket

We were given colours, but it was never enough. We had to finish one pack of choco before we could ask for more. It was alittle troublesome since our graphic design consist of "hair". You will understand more if you read on.

Photobucket

That was the hair i'm talking about. We took quite sometime to squeeze it out slowly. The process filled us with worries that it might goes out of line. No worries, I can always touch up while Ah Tard colour.

Photobucket

We had tons of ideas; adding biscuits, flowery candies, and heart candies. I even added leaves and branches to enhance. Because of our awesome graphics, we seek numerous attention. Some aunties and uncles just stood behind and openly look at our graphic design process.

Some even praised us on the spot. *Sense of satisfaction*

Photobucket

In the mid pt when Yan went to buy some biscuit, I was amazed by a little boy who just spilled all the cream over and exclaimed that it was "SHIT" loudly. LOL - Funny, but creative. I hardly get to see a shitty cake.

Photobucket

TADA!!!

It wasn't professional. But for noobies like me and Ah Tard, this is considered a good job afterall.

Photobucket

Drools ~

Photobucket

This photo was taken by the staff. She was amazed by our final result too.

Yan carried the cake till CCK while I continued from there. The trip home was filled with obstruction. Anyway, we manage to get the cake home safely. It's for the chalet party.

Good night everyone.

Dead poisoning..

7th November 2009
This was the ever-uber birthday celebration with Christopher. Haha. It wasn't his problem, but mine. Nope, I didn't throw tantrums to cause this. I was infected badly by some bacteria, which resulted in some stomach infection. Read on to find out more.

I requested for IKEA upon craving for chicken wings and meat ball. Drools. He pick me up from my house and drove me there. The rain was damn heavy that we could hardly see the road. No worries, no accident.

Reached IKEA finally, it was god-damn crowded as usual. Made my orders. Love IKEA card to the max(cheated from dad). Hoho, IKEA has got new dishes. Yums.

Photobucket

We walked around at IKEA and bought some of my essential props. Oh, so sad for Ah Tard.

Next, he brought me to fish farm. Thumbs up. We spent ours there although there aren't much. But the fishes were so entertaining to me. The aquarium was big though. Kids were all running about catching fishes. They even had prawning too. Shiok.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Did you see that below?
It's fish. Uber big fish. I wonder if it can be cooked.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Next, we went for fish spa. It's damn fun. It took me nearly 20 min to brave up my courage to emerge my leg in completely. It's damn ticklish and you simply feel numb. It's like tons of pen poking non stop. Every interval, the fishes will spread out together.

Hoho, amazing.

Next, we went to Pasir Ris. We had made fabulous plan for the night, but I'm the spoiler. I had stomach infection and did not realised it at all. I foolishly tried to tolerate my pain, thinking it's normal. In fact, it was serious by then.

Unable to tolerate further toture from the pain, Chris decided to abort all the plannings and drove me to seek for medical advise. I was diagnose with stomach infection. Doctor said it's cause by bacteria.

For that particular day since my pain began, I had fried rice in school and KFC for dinner. It's all up to you judge. Make a guess.

It's a little disappoint, but HUSH. Because Christopher will make it up for me. I'M SURE. Stay tune.
