Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.

It's a Saturday and yep, 1 day after the actual Valentine's Day. We celebrated it a day later as bf had school and I had to work on Friday. I was scrolling my FB and the newsfeed was flooded with photos of flowers and beautiful jewellery. Everyone was out to dine except me.

On the actual day of Valentine's, Teng text me that she'd be with me spiritually. I strangled her 3 times in my mind especially when she repeated the same phrase for a second time. Great, I had an early night for that day without flowers and present.

The next day, bf took me to a restaurant named Pollen. It is located at Flower Dome @ Garden by the Bay. It's a beautiful place but it took me a long walk before I reached my destination.

#Starter and Main

The place is quite pretty with indoor flowers (I'm not too sure if there's mossie. Haha.). We had a gift exchange and bf bought me Pandora. I'll update about my gift in a later post. I got him a pair of Ray Ban and a Burberry shirt at a later part. I was happily wrapping the gift that night and I tried all sort of means to prank him. He's really afraid of cockroaches. 

My dad was involved in the wrapping process. We placed 3 fake cockroaches in his gift box with sponge at the side (making sure that the cockroaches sprung/fall out). Yeah, he was in fright once again. Apparently, his immunity towards such little pranks increase. He wasn't as startled as in the past. I remembered he threw his wallet (that used to be his precious) and hopped onto his bed the first time I scared him.

The staff was really sweet to serve us a complimentary cake upon hearing that our anniversary (they heard the conversation while serving our food)  is around the corner. How sweet!

The meal was really great and delicious. Portion of food was great. It will be better if the staffs are able to speak in better English. I didn't really quite understand what they are saying most of the time actually and it can be really misleading.

#Xiao Long Bao

I was craving for Xiao Long Bao before leaving MBS. We queued up for Din Tai Fung as we browsed around at the Pandora section. Bf wanted to buy me more charms, well, the staffs were too busy to serve us. Anyway, I spotted a Frog Prince charm. It's mad cute. Hopefully, bf is going to buy it for me if I'm obedient enough.

We watched Robocop and had a late night supper before heading home. I was really pleased and happy with my Valentine's gift. Hopefully, bf is pleased with his too. I should have brought my semi-d along instead of the compact one. Sigh. It's an awesome day still. Smiles.

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone. Yeah, I'm supposed to visit Teng's place in the morning at 11am. Unfortunately, I lazed all the way till 12 plus despite my alarm ringing non stop since 9am plus. I felt so proud of myself for being able to sleep under such conditions.

It was only until Teng rang me up personally. Thank god, ever since she had 2 children of her own, her patience level improved tremendously. Because of that, I probably escape from her roars. Somehow, somewhat, I'm so grateful towards her children.

After answering the horrifying call, I jumped into action and hopped into my clothes before scampering my way there. Whew! It's near my place, so it took me only a short while to get my ass there.

#All in one

This is the weirdest combination according to Teng. 3 couples having an arranged movie date. Even so, it's a good combination in my point of view. We watched the movie "From Vegas to Macau". Well, I have to say, it's a really nice movie. Teng ordered a family combo with a super large size popcorn (looked twice or thrice of mine). Bf was trying really hard to slim down because everyone called him fat lately. It's quite a fact actually. He gained 9kg in less than a year. Hohoho! I feel so happy for him. His overloading fatness made me looked slightly slimmer. In fact, I gained 3kg as well. In comparison with his 9kg weight gained, I believed my condition is mild. Oh yea!

For last year's words belong to last year's language And next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.

It's Chinese New Year again. As usual, my parents would stock up the food a week before reunion dinner. They ain't really wet market ppl, they tend to settle everything at supermarket except for the fresh fish and poultry. Even though we are just a family of 4, my parents love to prepare food for 10 portion and then blamed us for food wastage. I wonder who's the wastage then.
