14th November 2014
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
I know that this is exceptionally weird because I am blogging about my trip to Taiwan a year back from now. Well, that's not the disastrous part of all. I just came back from Bangkok with friends and went on a birthday trip in November (yea, November again) this year. I really wonder when I'll be able to complete all. I am trying my best not to miss out any of them in my blog because I wish to remember those memories at all times especially when I scroll back to read my older entries. It can be really sweet and funny at times when I spot my own grammatical mistakes or even endless ranting. So, I opened a new file in my tablet and recorded the events that should not be missed. As I blog, I strike them off to make sure I don't repeat the same post again.
#King Garden
#Bf and I
I had been looking forward to visit this place very much because of it's exterior with the game of chess. We planned it in our itinerary the day before actually. Unfortunately, Taichung is so big that the places we had planned were situated at 2 different ends. So we decided to skip it because it would incur a big cost if we were to visit King Garden (as it was sort of like, going backward). I was kind of sad but I told bf it was really fine to skip the place.
#On the carriage
So that night, bf started socializing (making friends) with a cab driver. He made it and he got him to bring us around at a cheaper rate. Till today (yea, I mean today), they are still friends. The cab driver offers me really good deals to bring my parents in Taiwan. He's definitely a friendly fella.
King Garden is still under construction. During my visit, I only managed to visit the souvenirs and snacks shop. It was more than enough because I had seen the exterior that I wanted to. The cab driver was rather surprise that we actually knew such a place that exist. He even thanked us for bringing him around instead.
#Paper Factory
#The hot iron plate
This is a factory that makes paper. The iron flat surface in the picture above is extremely hot and the staff that peel paper from it must be really fast and accurate.
#古早味 restaurant
We were told that the local enjoyed the 古早味 noodle. We didn't really know what it is and we decided to give it a try. It turned out that the restaurant sells mostly spare parts (organs). I don't really like to eat organs. Well, bf does. I only like toufu. Yea, toufu is my favourite food among all.

#18°C Chocolate Factory
#Ice-cream is love
Even though it was a weekday, the place was packed with people. Best thing is, they provide free flow of coffee that is gonna be so good on cold weather.
#Treats from bf
#Ice-cream
I really love the sesame flavour. The cab driver was no stingy man (very generous). He kept offering to pay for our ice-cream because he simply clicked too well with bf. Oh... bf should stop flirting with him (just kidding).

#On the HSR to Kaohsiung
#Geeky us
Bf was really cute, he bought an identical geek specs in blue with me so that we could wear it together for photo taking. My conclusion, I love blue so much that I simply can't live without it. My stapler , bottle, jacket, accessories and many more come in blue.
Blue, why are you so sexy?
#With the luggage
Bf suffered the most during the trip. He carried the big luggage all by himself while I was empty handed because all my stuffs were in his luggage (He suggested that. I didn't take advantage of him.) There were times when the train was packed and I had to hold my legs so that there is room of space for the luggage.
#Venis Inn
Venus Inn was located at Sky Tower 85. One of the highest building, I guess. The stay was absolutely awesome even though it was not cheap at all. Bf booked it because I told him that the night view was perfect and you can even see sunrise in the morning. It was mad beautiful. The beautiful night scenery with glittering street lights and ships sailing on the sea made my night so enchanting. I was reluctant to sleep because it was so beautiful.
#Resting area
#Room and shower
There's a curtain in the bathroom if you wish to have your privacy. Don't worry, you won't be forced to shit before your friends or partners.
#At Venis Inn
#The lamp
#OSIM massage chair
The massage chair was definitely a good implementation. Bf and I took turn to enjoy after a long day (walking non-stop) while waiting for one another to get our business done in the toilet.

#Me and bf
#Reaching the pier
#At Love Pier
I seriously had a long walk that night and I could clearly remembered how far I have walked. I finally realized bf does enjoy walking. After some little recent chit chats, I discovered through Sean that bf was the champion for his school marathon. No wonder, he hardly felt tired after a long walk except ME (yea! me only) panting like crazy.
#Gushan Ferry Pier
So, bf decided to bring me to Qi Jing Island for seafood supper. I researched and found out that there can be quite a lot to do in the day time. Unfortunately, we reached kaohsiung really late and had to give it a miss.
#At the ferry terminal
#Boarding
It was really cool to see bikers riding their bike into the ferry directly. That was really cool because I had never seen any mode of transport that carry another mode of transport conveniently.

#The Dessert Shop
#Mango ice
We took a short ferry ride back to kaohsiung and had a yummy mango ice for dessert. It was really cheap and nice. We wanted to join in the graffiti but there's no markers available. The lady boss then told us that, their patrons brought their own drawing materials to draw. Sounds cool.

#Sizihwan Station
#The beautiful interior
Bf told me that there is a train station that looks different from the others. He showed me a photo before our trip and I told myself I had to see it. It was beautiful and then I wondered why only special and different for this train station. Just in case, you wish to take a look, it is located at Sizihwan Station.

#The Doraemon Pancake
#The food street
#Seafood Hawker
You will find many stalls selling the same thing therefore the price is rather fixed. But, always check out the pricing before buying. It looks fresh to me because they prepared them before me. I can't remember exactly how much I had paid. I only remember it was cheap. Yeap yeap.
#Abalone
#Lobster (small one)
#I love this fat cat
It looked so GARFIELD!!!
#Kitty
This little kitty was excited upon seeing bf with his red plastic bag. So bf played with it by swinging his bag around and it jumped about in the glass window.
#Another kitty
The white kitty next door got curious and joined in the fun. It was a tiring but enjoyable day because I got to pamper myself with food. I appreciate bf's effort for bringing me around. He planned a long list of itinerary that was so detailed and you can easily find the information of cost an transport in the paper. It wasn't easy for him to manage all the bookings all by himself as well. Alright bf, I had to say. You are good and pls continue to carry luggage and heavy bags for me. Oops.
With love,
Pzy
